1. What Is BSquared Network?

B² Network is a Bitcoin Layer 2 platform that is fully EVM-compatible. It is a platform based on zero-knowledge proof Rollup technology on the Bitcoin network. By utilizing Rollup technology, B² Network provides an off-chain transaction platform capable of running Turing-complete smart contracts, thereby improving transaction efficiency and reducing costs.

2. How Does BSquared Network Work?

B² Network consists of two fundamental layers: the Rollup Layer and the Data Availability Layer.

Rollup Layer: B² Network utilizes ZK-Rollup as its Rollup Layer. The ZK-Rollup Layer adopts a zkEVM solution, responsible for executing user transactions within the Layer 2 network and outputting relevant proofs. User transactions are submitted and processed in the ZK-Rollup Layer, where user states are also stored. Batch proposals and generated zero-knowledge proofs are forwarded to the Data Availability Layer for storage and verification.

Data Availability Layer: This layer includes decentralized storage, B² nodes, and the Bitcoin network. It is responsible for permanently storing copies of Rollup data, verifying zero-knowledge proofs from the Rollup, and ultimately executing final confirmation on the Bitcoin network.

January 2024: B² Network announced the successful completion of a Seed funding round. Investors included HashKey Capital, OKX Ventures, IDG Capital, Kucoin Ventures, ABCDE, Waterdrip Capital, Satoshi Lab, OGs FUND, and Antalpha Group.
