1. What Is CLANKER?

Clanker is an AI-powered meme coin launchpad platform. Users can instantly launch an ERC-20 token on the Base network by simply tagging @Clanker on Farcaster clients (such as Warpcast or Supercast) and providing a text description of the token's name, symbol, theme, and image. Clanker automates the entire deployment process with a single step.

2. How Does CLANKER Operate?

Clanker is a suite of audited smart contracts designed to establish token markets and incentivize creators. Token deployers earn rewards based on the trading volume of the assets they launch. Currently, Clanker supports ERC-20 token deployment on the Base network via the following methods:

1) Farcaster users can request a deployment by tagging @clanker directly on the Farcaster protocol.

2) Users can utilize the clanker.world frontend or the Farcaster Mini App for a streamlined deployment experience.

3) Developers can build custom token-launching experiences using the Clanker SDK.

4) Users or third-party interfaces can interact directly with Clanker’s core smart contracts to deploy tokens.

3. Who Created CLANKER?

The Team Behind Clanker was developed by Proxy Studio, an anonymous development team originally consisting of two key members from the Farcaster ecosystem: Jack Dishman and @proxystudio.eth.

Jack Dishman (Co-founder): A full-stack engineer deeply embedded in Farcaster. His professional background includes software engineering roles at Tokensoft and Authentic.

Funding: In October 2025, Farcaster officially announced the acquisition of Clanker, recognizing it as the leading token issuance platform on the Base network.

4. CLANKER Tokenomics

CLANKER has a total supply of 1 million tokens, with a current circulating supply of 98.62%. Following the acquisition by Farcaster in October 2025, co-founder Dan Romero confirmed that Clanker will be deeply integrated into the Farcaster app. Along with this transition, Clanker announced the following economic updates: (1) Fee Buybacks: Two-thirds of protocol fees are allocated to buy back and hold CLANKER,

with the remaining one-third reserved for tax obligations. (2) All ecosystem tokens accumulated from versions v0 to v3.1 have been permanently burned to reduce supply. (3) Approximately 7% of the total supply is permanently locked in a one-sided Liquidity Pool (LP) to enhance liquidity and further constrain the circulating supply.
