The founder of Cardano ($ADA) Charles Hoskinson stated that the $ADA ecosystem needs to regain its position, emphasizing the network's decentralized governance structure and the upcoming Leios upgrade.
Hoskinson stated that the Cardano community can determine the network's future without the need for any central authority. He explained that the community can come together to create a roadmap, allocate resources for that plan, vote, and implement the accepted changes, arguing that Cardano is a truly decentralized ecosystem that is constantly evolving on its own.
Hoskinson announced that the next major technical upgrade for Cardano will be Leios, stating that this upgrade will increase the network's performance approximately 60-fold. He noted that the launch of Leios is expected soon and will provide a significant leap in Cardano's technological capabilities.
Hoskinson, calling Cardano one of the 'promising' projects in the cryptocurrency market, stated that the project will continue to exist regardless of market conditions. Hoskinson said: 'No matter what you do, Cardano will always be here and will continue to make its voice heard.'
Hoskinson stated that Cardano is technologically stronger than it was in 2024, but acknowledged that the project has lost market position, brand value, and respect in the industry. He indicated that he will immediately take the necessary steps to put $ADA back on the right track and propel it to leading positions.
Hoskinson also argued that Cardano has earned its success, while expressing dissatisfaction with the weak branding, marketing, and adoption efforts within the ecosystem.
