Injective needs to rally more than 50%
The weekly chart did not make for cheerful reading for Injective bulls. After revisiting the lows from the October crash, the altcoin has bounced 38% in a month.

Yet, the technical indicators showed momentum remained bearish. The Aroon indicator barely saw a peep from the Aroon Up, showing the altcoin was a long way from challenging local highs or setting new ones.

The CMF was at -0.21. The heavy capital outflows on the higher timeframes helped explain the Injective token’s weakness.

The weekly swing structure was bearish, and the internal high (green) at $5.9 needs to be breached to signal a relief rally was underway. INJ needs to rally 53% from current market prices to achieve this.

As things stand, the INJ bounce is too weak and isolated to buy.

This indicates that the company is taking its staking activity as seriously as its aggressive ETH accumulation strategy.

This technical milestone is significant as it suggests price is in a prime position to reclaim this specific moving average as a solid support for future upward momentum.However, the analyst noted that the initial breakout lacked sufficient breathing room for a standard, clean retest. Consequently, the market experienced a violent downside wick that dipped below the EMA, serving as a volatile retest to shake out weak hands.During this period of heightened volatility, Bitcoin’s price action saw a deep wick that brought it into proximity with the $73,000 level. This area is technically significant as it represents the Double Bottom formation top. Reaching this level confirms that the market is still interacting with major historical structural boundaries despite the current fluctuations.The focus now shifts entirely to the upcoming weekly candle close to determine the mid-term trajectory. If the candle closes at its current snapshot levels, it would signal that the retest of the 21-week EMA was successful. 

Conversely, a weekly close below the 21-week EMA would negate the current bullish thesis. Such a failure would likely result in a deeper correction, pushing Bitcoin’s price back into the low $70,000 range.
