Две криптовалюты, Tron (TRX) и Cardano (ADA), соревнуются за место в десятке крупнейших цифровых монет. Оба проекта были основаны в 2017 году, они имеют относительно долгую историю и продолжают активно развиваться. Рыночная капитализация Tron и Cardano на 23 августа составляет $13,51 млрд и $13,63 млрд соответственно. Разница — всего $120 млн, то есть менее 1%. Активы практически сравнялись по общей стоимости, что не дает с уверенностью сказать, кто из них сможет закрепиться в Топ-10.

Сеть Tron, созданная китайским предпринимателем Джастином Саном, фокусируется на развлекательных и творческих сервисах. А блокчейн Cardano, запущенный соучредителем Ethereum Чарльзом Хоскинсоном, применяет научный подход в создании токенов и стремится стать максимально децентрализованной сетью для разработки приложений (dApps) и работы со смарт-контрактами.

В середине августа в экосистеме Tron была запущена платформа для создания мемных токенов SunPump. Ее открытие вызвало ажиотаж в сети, курс нативной криптовалюты блокчейна TRX обновил максимум за три года около отметки $0,165.

На фоне запуска SunPump монета Tron заняла 10 место в списке крупнейших по капитализации криптовалют, сместив Cardano на 11 позицию. 23 августа расположение активов в Топ-10 снова поменялось: на последнюю строчку опять поднялась ADA (внутренняя криптовалюта сети Cardano названа в честь первого в истории программиста Ады Лавлейс), курс которой вырос за последние сутки на 4,5%. Он поднялся до $0,386 впервые с начала августа.

Рост стоимости Cardano начался после того, как Хоскинсон объявил о дате запуска форка блокчейна под названием Chang. Обновление, запланированное на 27 августа, станет важным этапом в процессе децентрализации Cardano. Форк направлен на ввод элементов «прямой демократии», у членов сообщества появится возможность активно участвовать в управлении блокчейном.

После запуска SunPump Джастин Сан обещал подписчикам в соцсетях, что впереди будет много анонсов новых партнерств и проектов. Одновременно с этим SunPump объявила о сотрудничестве с маркетмейкером DRW Labs и агрегатором CoinMarketCap.

Хорошая работа разработчиков вселила «долгосрочный оптимизм» в отношении проекта, отмечают в Santiment. Аналитики считают, что развитие партнерских отношений и личная вовлеченность Сана в работу экосистемы будет способствовать дальнейшему развитию сообщества и инвестициям.

Что касается Cardano, то перспективы проекта и курса ADA инвесторы будут оценивать после проведения форка Chang. Успешный запуск обновления приблизит сеть к последнему этапу ее дорожной карты — эпохе Вольтера, когда блокчейн, по задумке разработчиков, станет автономной децентрализованной системой под управлением сообщества.
