1. Project Introduction
Persistence is a decentralized, Tendermint-based Layer-1 blockchain designed to support DeFi applications that unlock the liquidity of staked assets. Its goal is to become a true liquidity staking hub, allowing developers to build innovative applications around liquid staked assets and providing seamless, capital-efficient staking and DeFi experiences for Proof-of-Stake (PoS) users. Persistence’s core chain, Core-1, supports the issuance and deployment of liquid staked assets through the pSTAKE platform, enabling users to earn staking rewards while participating in DeFi fundamentals like lending and liquidity provision for decentralized exchanges.

The founder and CEO of Persistence is Tushar Aggarwal, who previously served as a partner at Outlier Ventures.
