What is Symbiosis Finance (SIS)

1. Project Introduction
Symbiosis is a cross-chain AMM DEX that aggregates liquidity across different networks, including L1s, L2s, EVM-compatible, and non-EVM chains. It aims to solve liquidity fragmentation and improve user experience within DeFi and Web3 ecosystems.
As a cross-chain DEX, Symbiosis enables seamless token swaps across multiple blockchains. The project currently supports 35 networks, including BNB Chain, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, and Avalanche. As of 2024, Symbiosis has processed over $2.82 billion in total volume and 2.8 million transactions. In September 2024, the project expanded into the Bitcoin market with the launch of a native Bitcoin bridge and syBTC.

Nick Avramov – Board Member & former Co-founder & BD of Symbiosis; previously contributed to Nomis, served as CMO at ChangeNOW.io, and worked as a marketing analyst at Spektr and Digital Horizon VC. Holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy and Literature from Saint Petersburg State University.
Aleksei Lushnikov – Co-founder & CTO; former Engineering Lead at SDT Group, Head of Development at IDFLY Digital Lab, and software engineer at Kuhni-lebedi and shtuki.pro. Holds a Ph.D. from Penza State University.
Funding:
February 18, 2022 – Binance Labs made a strategic investment in Symbiosis Finance.
October 22, 2021 – Raised $2M in a funding round led by Blockchain.com Ventures and Spartan Group, with participation from KuCoin Labs, Injective Labs, DAO Maker, and others.
