Cryptocurrency liquidity provider TrustedVolumes has confirmed it was hacked, suffering losses of approximately $6.7 million. The company stated that the stolen funds are currently held in three different wallet addresses.

According to information shared by TrustedVolumes, approximately $3 million worth of assets are held in two different addresses, while a third address holds approximately $700,000 worth of cryptocurrency. In a statement following the attack, the company added that it remains open to communication with the attacker and is prepared to engage in “constructive negotiations” for a bug bounty and a mutually acceptable solution.

Following the attack, various speculations arose in the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector, and 1inch also released an official statement on the matter. 1inch stated that some reports circulating on social media were misleading, clarifying that neither 1inch itself nor its protocols were connected to the incident.
The company statement said, “There is no impact on 1inch systems, infrastructure, or user funds.” It also noted that TrustedVolumes is an independent liquidity provider used by many protocols in the industry and does not operate exclusively for 1inch.

In their latest report, Bitfinex analysts stated that although Bitcoin has risen above $80,000, it is still not positioned for an upward move, and demand is not strong enough to support the rise.

Underlying demand is improving, driven by steady inflows from spot ETFs and continued accumulation by institutions like Strategy. However, demand is not yet strong enough to absorb the excess supply and confirm a sustainable breakout.

At this point, according to analysts, given market conditions, it seems more likely that Bitcoin will move negatively rather than positively.

According to a press release shared with crypto.news, the agreement will place the company under the licensing structure of Bakkt Financial Solutions I, LLC, allowing Zoth to operate as an Authorized Agent while using Bakkt’s U.S. regulatory approvals for enterprise payment flows.

The Singapore-based firm said the setup is expected to help financial institutions and money transfer operators move stablecoin-based payments across high-volume corridors that have historically faced compliance hurdles.

The partnership expands Bakkt Inc.’s stablecoin payments strategy weeks after the company completed its acquisition of Distributed Technologies Research, or DTR, a payments infrastructure firm focused on AI-native and agentic transaction systems. Bakkt said at the time that the DTR deal would help it build a 24/7 digital settlement network using stablecoin rails for institutional finance.Zoth said Bakkt brings a licensing stack that includes pan-U.S. money transmitter licenses, FinCEN MSB registration, and a New York BitLicense through Bakkt Financial Solutions I, LLC.
