Pantera Capital believe that “digital gold” (blockchain) can decouple and trade independently like gold. In the first rising interest rate environment in forty-two years, there will be a desire to invest in things that don’t have to continue to go down as the Fed unwinds its twin mistakes. In our view, blockchain and other commodities are likely the only place to hide in a world with massively rising rates.
