31 июля Telegram выпустил обновление до версии 11,14, в котором было обещано добавить в мессенджер новую категорию NFT-подарков. Ранее в нем появилась возможность продавать цифровые подарки за криптовалюту Toncoin (TON) на внутреннем маркетплейсе, а также несколько других нововведений.

Подарки в Telegram настолько популярны, что новые выпуски распродаются за считанные минуты, отметили разработчики. Они заявили, что теперь появится новый тип подарка, доступный только для пользователей Telegram Premium.

600 тыс. «редких» подарков в Telegram раскупили за несколько часов

Каждый премиум-пользователь сможет приобрести только ограниченное количество таких NFT. Подавляющее большинство других подарков Telegram по-прежнему будут доступны всем пользователями, уточнила команда мессенджера.

Продавать подарки на маркетплейсе Telegram можно теперь за Toncoin, ранее для этого использовали «звезды» (Telegram Stars). Как сообщал ранее «Код Дурова», предварительно минимальная цена для продажи NFT составляла 1 TON, максимальная — 100 тыс. TON, а комиссия — 10% с каждой продажи за Toncoin, 20% — за «звезды».

В начале июля рэпер Снуп Догг за полчаса продал миллион NFT-подарков после клипа про Telegram. Доход от продаж составил около $12 млн.

Перед запуском клипа и подарков, Снуп Догг и основатель Telegram Павел Дуров вели публичную переписку в соцсетях, интригуя сообщество. В четверг, 31 июля, они также обменялись сообщениями.

«Эй, Дуров, я слышал наши Telegram-подарки торгуются на вторичном рынке. Что? Какой план?», — написал музыкант.

«Пользователи Telegram теперь могут владеть частью своего наследия на блокчейне TON. Что касается плана — он имеет тенденцию раскрываться сам», — ответил Дуров.

Полученные за продажу подарков токены TON попадают на баланс «Мои TON» — это новый раздел меню в настройках мессенджера. На этот счет можно купить TON через платформу Fragment. Вывод токенов пока недоступен, но их можно тратить на покупку рекламы. Также можно получать TON за публикации.
