Bitcoin treasury holdings drop 1% – Riot, Empery lead $150 mln BTC dump

Bitcoin treasury holdings among public companies decreased by approximately 1% in the past week, equivalent to around 10,000 BTC sold. Major contributors to the sell-off include Riot Platforms, which disposed of 500 BTC worth $34.13 million, and Empery Digital, which liquidated its entire remaining stash of 1,795 BTC valued at $122.53 million. This trend is part of a broader miner liquidation phase that began in late 2025, driven by debt reduction and operational optimization.
