Barça Mobile — the telecommunications platform of the football club "Barcelona," will add a digital wallet to its mobile application. To create it, the company has entered into partnerships with Wirex, Crossmint, and the Stellar Development Foundation.
New Era Visionary Group, the official operator and technology partner of FC Barcelona, together with these companies, will develop the wallet's infrastructure. The service will combine mobile communication, payments, bonuses, travel services, and other digital capabilities in one app.
Wirex will provide the payment infrastructure, Crossmint will provide the wallet's own infrastructure and tools for user onboarding, and Stellar will serve as the blockchain foundation of the wallet. The network will be used for digital payments and cross-border transfers, allowing Barça Mobile to offer services to users in different countries.
The wallet will not be a separate application or a standalone product — it will be integrated into Barça Mobile. The project is part of Barça Mobile's plans to create a global digital platform. The company aims to combine telecommunications and digital services in one application.
