Bitcoin traders are becoming increasingly cautious as market analysts warn that BTC’s upward momentum appears to be weakening after recent rejections near higher resistance levels. Following several failed attempts to maintain strength above key price zones, traders are now closely monitoring important support areas that could determine Bitcoin’s next major move.

According to analysts, Bitcoin’s momentum has started slowing after the market failed to sustain rallies above the recent highs. Some traders believe the current structure shows signs of exhaustion, with buying pressure gradually weakening while short-term uncertainty continues rising across global markets.

The most important support range currently being watched lies between $74,000 and $76,000. Many analysts believe this zone could play a critical role in preventing a deeper correction. If Bitcoin successfully holds above this region, traders expect the market could stabilize and potentially regain bullish momentum in the coming weeks.

However, if BTC loses this support area, analysts warn that the next downside targets could move toward the $70,000 to $72,000 range, with some bearish projections even discussing the possibility of a drop toward $65,000 if selling pressure accelerates further.

Market observers also point to weakening spot demand, declining momentum indicators, and growing macroeconomic pressure as factors contributing to the current cautious sentiment. Concerns surrounding liquidity conditions, interest rates, and geopolitical uncertainty continue affecting investor confidence across both traditional and crypto

Dogecoin Monthly Chart Shows $5 to $10 Target as Long-Term Support Holds

Dogecoin is holding a long-term rising support line on the monthly chart shared by MikybullCrypto on X, with the analyst pointing to a possible move toward the $5-$10 range.

The $DOGE monthly chart shows a similar structure to the previous cycle. In the earlier setup, Dogecoin moved inside a tightening range, touched rising support several times, then broke sharply higher.

The current structure shows $DOGE again holding above rising support after a long consolidation phase. The chart also marks repeated support reactions near the trendline, suggesting buyers are still defending the long-term base.

The upper resistance area sits near the previous cycle high zone around $0.70-$0.80. $DOGE would need to break that area first before the larger bullish target becomes more relevant.

The purple projection on the chart points to a much larger move, with MikybullCrypto calling for $5-$10 in the next bullish phase. However, that target depends on a strong monthly breakout, not just support holding.

How Have Bitcoin ETFs Performed So Far?
Bitcoin ETFs closed April with roughly $2 billion in net inflows, which is the strongest monthly total of 2026 so far. In the week ending May 1, they pulled in another $153.87 million, pushing cumulative inflows since January 2024 to $58 billion and total net assets to $103.78 billion. That was the fifth straight positive week, and most of the gains came from just two trading days.
On May 1, Bitcoin ETFs brought in $629.73 million in a single session—the biggest one-day inflow since mid-April. The earlier days of the week were flat or slightly negative, so that one session rescued the weekly total. 

Three days later, the funds added another $532.21 million on May 4, marking the third straight positive day of the month. BlackRock’s IBIT led with $335.49 million, and Fidelity’s FBTC added $184.57 million. Bitcoin traded at $80,836 that day, briefly touching $81,000 for the first time in over three months.

Then the momentum cracked. Bitcoin ETFs posted $1 billion in net outflows for the week ending May 15—the largest weekly redemption since late January. That ended a six-week inflow streak, which had drawn in $3.4 billion at an average of $568 million per week. The week ended with roughly $1.16 billion in gross outflows against just $158 million in inflows—about $1 billion net out.
