Предложение разработчиков поддержали 74% участников голосования. «За» высказались 200 человек, «против» — шесть, еще семь воздержались.

План развития рассчитан на год. Он включает улучшение масштабируемости, взаимодействия с сетью и опыта для разработчиков. Ключевые проекты — протокол быстрых транзакций Hydra и модульная архитектура ноды Project Acropolis.

IOG также планирует снизить использование оперативной памяти для стейкинг-пулов и заложить основу для более сложных смарт-контрактов.

Решение вызвало обеспокоенность в сообществе. Некоторые участники выразили сомнения по поводу стоимости работ, прозрачности расходования средств и подотчетности. Часть пользователей предложила разбить план на более мелкие задачи с отдельным голосованием по бюджету для каждой из них.

Выплаты будут производиться поэтапно по мере достижения целей. Независимым администратором выступит организация Intersect. Для контроля также задействуют смарт-контракты и специальный комитет.

IOG обязали публиковать ежемесячные отчеты, табели учета рабочего времени инженеров и квартальные сводки по бюджету.

Напомним, основатель Cardano Чарльз Хоскинсон предложил выделить из резервов проекта $100 млн в токенах ADA на покупку биткоинов и стейблкоинов. Соучредитель Solana Labs Анатолий Яковенко назвал идею «глупостью».
