According to Jin10, the U.S. Treasury Department will lay out the risks it believes cryptocurrencies pose to consumers and the financial system in a series of reports this month, people familiar with the matter said. The U.S. Treasury Department’s report will focus on an analysis of the cryptocurrency market, but won’t offer too many specific policy recommendations. Each report will focus on one of four themes, including payment systems, consumer protection, illicit financing and financial stability.
