What started as a market swing quickly turned into another round of the endless gold versus Bitcoin battle.
The debate between gold and Bitcoin [BTC] has once again resurfaced. This time, it was sparked when forever king coin critic Peter Schiff mocked venture capitalist Tim Draper.

In his remarks, Schiff defended the long-standing value of Gold while also criticizing Draper for his strong confidence in Bitcoin. 
Tim Draper’s point of view

For context, in his interview, Draper highlighted his belief that Bitcoin could eventually become the main form of money, even though many companies remain concerned about its volatility.

Speaking with James Heckman, Draper said businesses may still favor stability today, but the long-term future could tilt toward Bitcoin.

Draper also warned that confidence in the United States dollar could weaken due to inflation, urging businesses to hold both bank deposits and Bitcoin.

He further argued that Bitcoin adoption may start slowly, with retailers accepting it as an optional payment method, eventually expanding over time.

Like if I’m a retailer, first thing I do is I put out a sign and I say we accept Bitcoin.

Notably, his optimism is partly rooted in his 2014 purchase of nearly 30,000 Bitcoins seized from the Silk Road seizure, which later became one of the most profitable early bets on the asset.

Thorn said failure to meet that deadline would sharply reduce the chances of passage in 2026. According to Alex Thorn, the CLARITY Act must reach the Senate floor by early May to remain viable this year. However, he said the Senate Banking Committee must first approve the bill before the end of April. If that slips, Thorn said the probability of passage in 2026 becomes extremely low.

The main models will run on a Mac Studio M3 Ultra with 512 GB, and everything else will run on another Mac Studio with 96 GB.

This setup basically acts like my own mini data center, capable of executing market operations up to 20× faster than cloud solutions.

And in trading it’s simple:

Speed = money.

Hardware like this lets you do things that 99.9% of traders simply can’t, because their machines just aren’t powerful enough. In a way, this moves me into the same league as professional hedge funds and HFT traders, and the rules there are completely different.

I’m ready to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars and half a year on development just to reach a point where I can say:
it worked or it didn’t.

Either way, I want to go through this process myself and truly understand it, instead of being part of the crowd that has no idea how any of it actually works.

I’ve always been the kind of person who does what I want and what I enjoy, not what the crowd expects or pushes you to do.
