SIREN: Mixed sentiment despite listing

According to the latest update, Bybit, a major cryptocurrency exchange with over 70 million users worldwide, has listed SIREN’s Perpetual Futures (SIRENUSDT) pair in its Innovation Zone with up to 25x leverage.

However, there is a red flag that could constrain SIREN’s upward movement. According to AMBCrypto’s look at Nansen, over the past 24 hours, the top 100 addresses holding the SIREN meme coin have reduced their holdings by 1.28%.

Retail holders also seem to be selling, as reflected in exchange reserves, which have increased by over 3.46% during the same period.

This data suggests that both large players and retail investors may be taking advantage of the recent price surge to book profits.

However, intraday traders seem to be following the market trend, as reflected in data from the derivatives analytics tool CoinGlass. Notably, this cohort has placed stronger bets on long-leveraged positions than on short-leveraged positions.

At press time, SIREN’s major liquidation level was at $1.3291 on the lower side, where traders have built a massive $4.16 million worth of long-leveraged positions, and at $1.8323 on the upper side, where traders have built $427.74K worth of short-leveraged positions.

H100 eyes Europe’s largest bitcoin treasury with 3,500 BTC in proposed acquistions

H100 Group (H100), a Stockholm-based publicly listed bitcoin $BTC$70,843.09 treasury company focused on providing institutional exposure to bitcoin, said it signed a letter of intent to acquire Norwegian peers Moonshot AS and Never Say Die AS to increase its holdings of the largest cryptocurrency.

If completed, the deal would roughly triple H100’s bitcoin stash to around 3,500 $BTC, positioning it among Europe’s largest listed bitcoin treasury firms. Beyond that, H100 said it aims to strengthen its institutional profile, improve liquidity and expand its relevance in capital markets.

The announcement follows the company's January announcement that it plans to combine with Future Holdings AG, a Zurich-based bitcoin treasury company. Both are backed by Adam Back, a British cryptographer and co-founder of Blockstream.

The transaction is structured as a bitcoin-for-bitcoin exchange, meaning ownership in the combined entity will be determined solely by the amount of bitcoin contributed. This approach preserves bitcoin exposure per share for existing investors, avoiding dilution while significantly scaling the company’s balance sheet.

The acquisition will be executed as an all-share transaction with no cash consideration.

Definitive agreements are expected by April 22, with completion anticipated shortly after the company’s annual general meeting in May, subject to final approvals.

Overall, the average buying price stands at around $2,162, which now acts as a key support level for the market.

Such moves signal strong confidence that Ethereum may be nearing its bottom, with expectations of potential upside in the coming months.

Notably, this accumulation is happening even as ETH trades at $2,071.67, down over 3% in the last 24 hours. This paints a clear divergence between short-term price action and long-term investor sentiment.

Retail vs whale behavior

Historically, smaller investors tend to buy when prices are already high, driven by FOMO. This happened in past cycles like 2018, 2021, and even 2024.

Right now, retail activity is relatively low, which is actually a good sign. It means the market is in a quieter phase where large investors are accumulating, while the public is still on the sidelines.

Interestingly, while this whale has been aggressively buying Ethereum [ETH], ETFs have been seeing money flow out, which may seem negative at first.
