World Foundation Raises $52.5M Through Strategic WLD Token Sale

World Foundation has raised $52.5 million through a strategic WLD token sale. The nonprofit will use the funds to expand World ID across businesses, consumer platforms, and Al services. Pantera Capital led the first close, joined by Bain Capital Crypto, Eightco Holdings, Selini Capital, and Susquehanna Crypto. Every token sold carries a 12-month lockup, limiting immediate sales from the new investors.

WLD traded near $0.375 on July 24 after moving between $0.375 and $0.387, CoinMarketCap data showed. The token stayed lower across markets despite the announcement. Cautious market conditions continue to outweigh the project's latest funding and adoption plans in the near term.

Across Protocol’s Risk Labs-operated relayer lost less than $4 million after an attacker fabricated $41.7 million in Solana deposit events, according to a post-incident report released by the cross-chain protocol. 1,627 fake deposits worth $41.7 million targeted 18 chains during the Solana attack.

Risk Labs’ relayer paid $4.5 million across 581 fraudulent requests before suspending service.

Around $500,000 in attacker funds remained trapped, reducing the net loss below $4 million.

Across restored Solana transfers through CCTP, while user funds and the ACX buyback remained unaffected.

Across attacker forged 1,627 Solana deposits

The attack occurred between 05:07 and 06:14 UTC on July 17, according to the Across Protocol post-mortem. The attacker used 1,627 single-use Solana wallets to create the same number of fake deposit events.

Mara Holdings is up 31% on the strength of its own mining and treasury strategy, holding 36,303 $BTC while continuing to expand its mining footprint.Twenty One Capital (XXI) only launched in March 2025, but it moved quickly to become the second-largest corporate bitcoin holder. The Austin-based firm was backed by crypto interests, including Tether, and initially led by entrepreneur Jack Mallers, who departed the company last week. Its entire business model centers on giving stock market investors direct exposure to bitcoin’s price, without the software or mining operations that other companies on this list also run.

Metaplanet, the Tokyo-listed company that pivoted from hotel development to a bitcoin treasury strategy, is down 49% as of July 25, 2026. Dogecoin Returns to Major Accumulation Zone Near $0.07

Dogecoin has fallen into a long-term support area that previously attracted buyers during earlier market corrections. Analyst Surf identified the blue region around $0.055 to $0.080 as a major accumulation zone, with $DOGE trading near $0.069.

The chart shows Dogecoin repeatedly reacting from the same broad price region since 2021. Previous tests near the zone preceded strong recoveries, although the size and timing of each rebound varied.

$DOGE has returned to support after declining from its late-2024 peak near $0.48. The broader structure remains weak because price continues to form lower highs, but the current area may slow selling pressure if buyers step in again.

Holding above roughly $0.055 would preserve the historical support setup and could allow $DOGE to recover toward $0.08 and $0.10. Reclaiming those levels would provide the first evidence that momentum is shifting.

The files showed separate Zoom and Teams lures, wallet-scanning tools, operator controls and malware delivery paths for Windows and macOS.

The attack often begins through a Telegram account that the target already trusts. The hackers take over accounts belonging to crypto contacts, then send a Calendly invitation that leads to a lookalike meeting domain. JUMPSEC described the system as a repeatable victim pipeline because one stolen Telegram session can help the attackers contact the next group of targets.The phishing page starts scanning the browser when a user enters the fake meeting. It looks for Ethereum wallet connections through EIP-6963 and older browser methods. It also checks for non-EVM wallets, including Solana tools. The results reach an operator panel without alerting the victim. This lets the attackers identify wallets and choose higher-value targets before pushing the next stage.

On Windows, the implant also lists extension IDs across Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi and Firefox variants. Operators can compare those IDs with known wallet extensions such as MetaMask. JUMPSEC called this

Crypto Advocates Contact Congress 1 Million Times as CLARITY Act Pressure Builds Grassroots Network Renews Pressure on Congress

Stand With Crypto, a U.S. crypto advocacy organization that says it has around 3 million registered advocates, reiterated that supporters have contacted Congress nearly 1 million times as it renewed its campaign for passage of the CLARITY Act.

The group is highlighting the outreach to underscore sustained public engagement with digital asset policy as lawmakers face a narrowing legislative calendar. Its 2025 report said advocates sent more than 925,000 emails to Congress that year and more than 1.1 million since the organization's founding.

The CLARITY Act would create a federal regulatory framework for digital assets and clarify when the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) oversees a cryptocurrency or market intermediary. Its provisions could affect exchange registration, asset listings, customer disclosures, and enforcement involving fraud or manipulation.

Why did WLD fall by 9% after World Foundation raised $52.5M via token sale?WLD's selling pressure tripled in June and it has not fully reverted yet.The World Foundation, the non-profit organization that governs the World network (formerly Worldcoin), has raised $52.5M to advance the network. However, the deal soon triggered a 9% WLD token price crash. 

According to the organization, the deal was made possible by selling WLD tokens to strategic investors including Pantera Capital, Selini Capital, Bain Capital Crypto, and Eightco Holdings. 

On-chain data showed that the non-profit transferred 217.4M WLD, with analysts estimating that the token’s sale price was $0.2415 per WLD. 
That would translate to a 30% discount from the press time price level of $0.3445 or a whopping 40% discount from WLD’s price of $0.386 on Friday, before the update went public. 

However, for its part, the World Foundation insisted the deal was based on the market price.
