Analysts expect altcoin assets to surge in prices soon should Bitcoin Dominance fall.

The crypto community is displeased to see crypto market prices falling once again as the year moves towards the final days of the month of July. Presently, BTC sees rejection at Point of Control for the second time, leading to a BTC price falling from $65,000 to $63,000 instead of breaking up to the $67,000 price range. At the same time, altcoin experts are pleased to see Bitcoin Dominance preparing to fall. 

BTC Sees Rejection at Point of Control for the Second Time 

The weekend before the final days of the month of July sees a weekend dip in crypto prices as the price of BTC fell from the $65,000price range to that of the $63,000 price range. This marks a price dip of over 2.5% in the last 24 hours. While the price of Bitcoin struggles to reclaim the $64,000 once again, the crypto community debates the possibilities of a greater dip in the price of BTC. 

As we can see from the post above, this popular crypto expert, analyst, and trader observes how Bitcoin (BTC) got rejected by the Point of Control for the second time. When this happened last, earlier this year in June, it triggered a -13% crash. Thus, the post goes on to suggest that this time BTC could see an even deeper dip. Using this observation, it is likely that if $67,000 is the top for the rest of summer, then the upcoming crash could be similar to the February crash.

Is Cardano's 500M ADA treasury push enough to reverse ecosystem stagnation? Cardano [$ADA] ranked among the weakest-performing crypto tokens in the market, losing significant ground since its launch. $ADA plunged to around $0.16 at press time, down from an all-time high near $3.10.

$ADA slipped 2.14% over the past 24 hours, while trading volume plummeted 23% to $177.3 million. Price action told only part of the story, though.

On-chain metrics did little to strengthen $ADA's recovery case.

Why is Cardano's network activity so weak?

$ADA's on-chain footprint pointed to real weakness in transaction flow.

The Cardano network logged just 21,700 transactions over the past day, a steep drop from roughly 57,000 at its peak.

That pattern held across recent trading and much of this year. Daily Transaction Count hovered between 11,000 and 20,000, a subdued range for a network of Cardano's standing.

By contrast, Active Addresses ticked up to roughly 13,860. That divergence suggested a larger pool of users still generated only limited on-chain activity.

In broader terms, Active Addresses mostly sat between 10,000 and 20,000. Thin address activity paired with a low Transaction Count weighed heavily on the chain's utility.

Russia's largest bank Sberbank plans crypto trading infrastructure by DecemberRussia's largest bank, Sberbank, plans to build cryptocurrency trading infrastructure and launch a digital depository by Dec. 1 as Russia moves to bring crypto trading, custody and settlement into its regulated financial system.

The depository, according to Interfax, will record clients' ownership of cryptocurrency and process most transactions outside the underlying blockchain. Sberbank will operate active wallets for client-initiated deposits, withdrawals and transfers. The plan follows the Federation Council's approval of a law regulating cryptocurrency trading through licensed brokers, exchanges, asset managers and depositories.

The framework is set to take effect Sept. 1, though rules requiring transactions to pass through licensed intermediaries will apply from July 2027.

Public exchange trading will be limited to cryptocurrencies that meet Bank of Russia liquidity thresholds, including an average market capitalization above 5 trillion rubles ($64 billion) and an average daily volume above 1 trillion rubles ($12.8 billion) over 2 years.Qualified investors will be able to access a broader range of assets. Crypto payments for goods and services inside Russia remain prohibited.

Sberbank started offering qualified investors structured bonds tied to bitcoin last year, and completed a bitcoin-backed lending pilot with miner Intelion Data in December.

Russia has been gradually bringing crypto into its regulated financial system.
