For instance, after the 2013 rally, Bitcoin topped near $1,150 before plummeting roughly 84%.Similarly, the 2017 high of $20,000 was followed by a 77% decline, and the 2021 peak near $69,000 was followed by an approximate 70% pullback.Each cycle has been marked by intense fear, yet history shows that these corrections are temporary, ultimately paving the way for renewed phases of expansion.The analysts stress that while the current volatility may appear severe in the short term, it fits within the broader historical cycles of the cryptocurrency.Elsewhere, popular analyst Ali Charts emphasized the approaching 0.8 MVRV band, a historically significant support zone. “Every Bitcoin bull market over the past decade began with a touch of the 0.8 MVRV band,” he noted.Notably, Bitcoin is nearing this foundational support, situated between $60,000 and $56,000, which has historically acted as a launchpad for major rallies, including +963% in 2017, +261% in 2018, +1,126% in 2020, and +660% following the FTX collapse in 2022.Meanwhile, CryptoQuant analyst Crypto Dan highlighted that current market conditions may be setting the stage for the next cycle. As the US-Iran war enters its fifth week, statements from both sides are affecting oil and Bitcoin ($BTC) prices.

After Trump stated that he had spoken with Iran and that Iran had abandoned its plan to attack energy facilities, the price of Bitcoin ($BTC) rose above $71,000.

Iran’s denial of talks with the US caused the Bitcoin price to drop to around $70,000, while Coinshares released its cryptocurrency report stating that there was a $230 million inflow last week.

“Weekly inflows into cryptocurrency investment products fell to $230 million, marking a significant slowdown compared to previous weeks.”

CoinShares stated that investor sentiment weakened following the US interest rate decision and the FOMC meeting, with the market interpreting the Federal Reserve’s stance as hawkish. The company noted that while strong inflows were observed at the beginning of the week, outflows occurred after the FOMC announcement.

Bitcoin ($BTC) Remains Positive!

Looking at crypto funds individually, inflows were seen in Bitcoin. Bitcoin experienced an inflow of $219 million, while Ethereum (ETH) saw an outflow of $27.5 million.

Looking at other altcoins, XRP saw $2.9 million in inflows, Solana (SOL) $17 million, Sui (SUI) $1.5 million, and Chainlink (LINK) $4.6 million.

Bitmine says Holdings Hit $11B after Latest ETH Purchase

Bitmine Immersion Technologies said that its combined crypto, cash and “moonshot” holdings reached $11.0 billion, including 4,660,903 ETH, 196 BTC, $1.1 billion in cash, a $200 million stake in Beast Industries and a $95 million stake in Eightco Holdings.

The company said its Ethereum position now equals 3.86% of total ETH supply, with 3,142,643 ETH already staked, valued at about $6.5 billion at $2,072 per token. Chairman Tom Lee said Bitmine acquired 65,341 ETH over the past week, above its prior pace of roughly 45,000 to 50,000 ETH weekly, as the firm leans further into its Ethereum treasury strategy.

Strategy last week purchased 1,031 BTC for $76.6 million, a sizable drop from $1 billion-plus purchases in the previous two weeks.

Total bitcoin holdings reach 762,099 BTC acquired at an average cost of $75,694 each, versus the current price just under $70,000.
Michael Saylor's Strategy (MSTR) continued to add to bitcoin holdings last week, but at a vastly reduced pace from recent previous acquisitions.

The leading bitcoin treasury company last week added 1,031 bitcoin for a total cost of $76.6 million, or $74,326 per coin.

Strategy’s total holdings now stand at 762,099 BTC, acquired for approximately $57.69 billion, or an average price of $75,694 each.

The new buys were entirely funded via the sales of common stock, according to a Monday filing.

This latest acquisition was at a vastly reduced scale compared to the previous two weeks, when the company purchased more than $1 billion of bitcoin, taking advantage of the issuance of its STRC preferred shares.

Bitcoin is currently trading around $70,000. MSTR shares are higher by 1.7% in premarket trading.

Historically, smaller investors tend to buy when prices are already high, driven by FOMO. This happened in past cycles like 2018, 2021, and even 2024.

Right now, retail activity is relatively low, which is actually a good sign. It means the market is in a quieter phase where large investors are accumulating, while the public is still on the sidelines.

Interestingly, while this whale has been aggressively buying Ethereum [ETH], ETFs have been seeing money flow out, which may seem negative at first.



However, a closer look reveals that large whales are steadily increasing their holdings, while mid-sized investors seem to be selling or redistributing.

Meanwhile, retail investors remain inconsistent, often buying at higher levels and selling during dips.

Overall, this indicates that Ethereum is gradually moving from weaker hands to stronger, long-term holders, which is typically a bullish sign for the market.

Amid the volatile price activity, an analyst still maintains a long-term target of $27 for XRP. Here’s why:

Crypto analyst ChartNerd has outlined a scenario that includes the possibility of a sharper correction. According to the analyst, XRP could revisit the $0.80–$0.70 range if current resistance continues to hold.

Rather than viewing this as a bearish breakdown, the analyst sees it as part of a larger setup. A deeper pullback, particularly toward key technical zones like the Gaussian Channel, could act as a reset before a stronger upward move.

Despite short-term weakness, ChartNerd maintains a bullish long-term outlook. The analyst reiterated earlier projections, with macro targets set at $8, $13, and even $27.The argument is that while price movement may deviate from earlier expectations, the broader structure remains unchanged. According to this view, only a loss of the 2020 cycle low would invalidate the long-term bullish thesis.

For now, XRP is seen as still in its early phase, with the major breakout yet to begin.

On a similar note, another analyst, EGRAG CRYPTO, maintains that XRP is still following a multi-year ascending structure, with the recent pullback acting as a normal retest after a breakout. As long as this trend holds, he projects macro targets at $8, $17, and $27, viewing them as structured long-term levels rather than short-term price moves.
