Schwab Crypto Begins Retail Rollout

Financial giant Charles Schwab announced on May 12 that Schwab Crypto accounts are now being rolled out to retail clients. The first group of clients can trade bitcoin ( BTC) and ethereum ( ETH) at Schwab alongside their other investments, with additional users able to sign up for updates and a chance at early access.

Retail clients will maintain a separate Schwab Crypto account offered by Charles Schwab Premier Bank, SSB. The account links directly to their Schwab brokerage accounts. Charles Schwab Premier Bank will custody client digital assets and handle safekeeping and record-keeping. Paxos will provide sub-custody and trade execution services. At launch, Schwab Crypto includes bitcoin and Ethereum trading, education, research, Schwab Coaching content, and 24/7 phone or chat support. Pricing is 75 basis points on each trade’s dollar value.
Charles Schwab explained in an April press release: “Schwab Crypto will provide direct access to bitcoin and ethereum trading, combined with educational content and experienced professional support all at a great value.”

XRP Price Prediction: Price Has Been Stuck for Months, Something Is Shifting on This Chart as ChatGPT Predicts.

XRP price is trading at $1.4563 on the daily, and the chart since July 2025 is a long story of distribution followed by damage control.

Price peaked around $3.70, spent months in a messy downtrend through the second half of 2025, crashed hard to $1.20 in February 2026, and has been attempting to rebuild ever since.

The recovery has been slow and unconvincing for most of March and April, but the last 2 weeks show a different character: cleaner, higher lows, a more sustained push toward $1.50, and the first real sign of directional intent since the February flush.

Resistance is $1.50 to $1.55 on a daily basis, the level that has defined the ceiling of this entire recovery phase. Every attempt to break it has failed. Price is approaching it again right now, and this test matters more than the previous ones because the approach is coming from a higher base.

Above $1.55, the next real target is $1.80, then $2.00, which is the first of ChatGPT’s bear case caps and also a major psychological level that the market will not give up easily. Support is $1.30 to $1.35, the floor that has held across 3 months of choppy price action and the level that needs to stay intact for the bull thesis to remain valid.

RSI on the daily is at 57.66, with the signal line at 53.15; the gap between the 2 is the most interesting thing on this chart right now. RSI has pushed well above the signal line, which tells you momentum is accelerating faster than the average is reflecting.

That kind of divergence, RSI running hot while signal line lags, often precedes a more decisive price move. Not overbought, not extended. Just building. If $1.55 breaks on this attempt with RSI at these levels, the path to ChatGPT’s $2.50 target opens up much faster than the slow grind of the last 3 mo

David Sacks said tomorrow’s CLARITY Act markup marks a major step toward making the United States the “Crypto Capital of the World.” His post came as the Senate Banking Committee prepares to consider the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act in a closely watched Thursday session.
The update added fresh White House-linked support before one of the most important U.S. crypto policy votes of 2026. Sacks said roughly 50 million people in the U.S. own or use crypto, and he argued that the bill would help the ecosystem “innovate and flourish for years to come.”
Sacks Backs Senate Push
Sacks said the CLARITY Act markup is “a monumental step” for U.S. crypto policy. He also said the bill would help preserve America’s leadership in innovation as lawmakers try to create clearer rules for digital assets.
He thanked Senate Banking Committee Chairman Tim Scott and the committee for working on the compromises needed to move the bill forward. He also thanked White House crypto director Patrick Witt for helping the process reach this stage.
Notably, Sacks also credited the crypto industry for its efforts. His comments followed Senator Scott’s statement that families, small businesses, investors, and innovators need clear rules for digital assets.

The Senate Banking Committee is expected to consider the bill on May 14. Reuters reported that the bill aims to create a broader federal framework for crypto markets, including rules for stablecoins, DeFi, exchanges, and tokenized assets.
