In response, the protocol paused all trading and signing operations, according to on-chain investigator ZachXBT on Telegram.

The attacker's wallets, identified across Bitcoin, Ethereum and BSC, currently hold 3,443 ETH worth $7.77 million, 36.85 BTC worth $2.97 million, and 96.6 BNB worth $66,000, per Arkham Intelligence.

Strive’s SATA stock will become the first U.S. listed security to pay cash dividends every business day. Summary Strive’s SATA preferred stock will begin daily cash payments on June 16, 2026, at a maintained annualized rate of 13%. Daily compounding lifts the effective annual yield to approximately 13.88%, a 7.6 basis-point improvement over monthly payment structures. Strive now holds 15,009 bitcoin, has retired all outstanding debt, and holds $87.6 million in cash as of May 12. Strive (Nasdaq: ASST) announced on May 14 that its Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock will shift from monthly to daily dividend payments, effective June 16. Holders of record on each preceding business day will be eligible for each payment, resulting in approximately 250 annual payments instead of 12. “SATA will be the first listed security in the history of U.S. capital markets to pay cash dividends every single Business Day, beginning June 16, 2026, at a current annualized rate of 13.00%. This is a true zero-to-one innovation,” said Matthew Cole, chairman and CEO of Strive. The shift does not change the stated 13% annual rate. Hyperliquid leads 24-hour gains as altcoins pace bitcoin
While bitcoin , the largest cryptocurrency, remains below its 200-day simple moving average despite the Clarity Act moving to a Senate vote, alternative cryptocurrencies are rallying.

Hyperliquid's $HYPE leads over 24 hours, gaining 16% to trade near $45. At one point, the price hit nearly $47, the highest since October. The rally comes after yesterday's debut of Bitwise’s Hyperliquid ETF and as crypto exchange Coinbase (COIN) said it will become the official treasury deployer for the $USDC stablecoin on Hyperledger Fabric, a modular blockchain framework for developing enterprise-grade applications.

Hyperliquid, a decentralized exchange, has emerged as a go-to venue for trading tokenized and TradFi-linked assets, particularly during weekends when traditional financial markets are closed. The platform’s pre-IPO asset CBRS, which anticipated Thursday's stock-market debut of Cerebras, recorded more than $280 million in trading volume over the past 24 hours, making it the ninth-largest traded asset on the exchange.

Other notable gains are Flare Network's FLR token, up 14%, and Unibase's UB, up 11%.

In traditional markets, gold dropped 2% and Treasury yields rose to 12-month highs while the Dollar Index gained for a fourth straight day.

Bit Digital reports 14% revenue drop in Q1, driven by lower ETH staking rewards





Bit Digital, an Ethereum ($ETH) treasury firm, reported a revenue decline and a widened net loss in the first quarter of this year, as it continued shifting away from bitcoin mining toward Ethereum-focused strategies.

The Nasdaq-listed company generated $27.9 million in total revenue in the first quarter, down 13.6% from the fourth quarter of 2025, according to its earnings report released Thursday.

XDC Network climbed to $0.03584 after gaining 12.98% over the last 24 hours, while trading volume expanded 30.62% to $33.42M. The sharp increase followed months of compressed price action inside a broad consolidation structure. 

Buyers continued defending the lower range near $0.0292 throughout April and early May before aggressive demand returned this week. 

As a result, XDC reclaimed short-term strength across the market and pushed toward the upper boundary of the range. 

Market capitalization also rose 12.98% to $736.58M, reflecting stronger capital inflows into the asset. 

However, price still traded beneath the larger resistance zone near $0.0372, which continued limiting upside expansion during the latest rally attempt.

Bitcoin price held above $79,000 after the US Senate confirmed Kevin Warsh as the next Federal Reserve chair, a leadership change markets are reading as potentially supportive for risk assets and digital asset policy.

Against that backdrop, attention has broadened from spot BTC to Bitcoin infrastructure plays. One of the projects drawing fresh interest is Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER), which says its presale has now raised more than $32.6 million as it prepares to launch a Bitcoin Layer 2 built on the Solana Virtual Machine.

The project is pitching itself as a way to address Bitcoin’s long-running speed and cost constraints ahead of its token generation event, while offering staking during the presale.

Earlier this week, the Senate approved Kevin Warsh’s nomination to the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in a 51-45 vote, then confirmed him as Fed chair on Wednesday by a 54-45 margin. The vote clears the way for Warsh to replace Jerome Powell as Powell’s term as chair ends on May 15.

Warsh, a former Fed governor and Morgan Stanley executive, has disclosed holdings tied to DeFi protocols, Ethereum scaling networks, a Bitcoin Lightning startup, and prediction markets. He has said he will divest those positions following confirmation.

For traders, the immediate takeaway was the prospect of a more market-oriented approach to rates and digital asset oversight. Bitcoin’s ability to rebound from the $79,000 area reinforced that view. Analyst Lennaert Snyder, who had been tracking that level closely, said a sustained hold there could open the way to prices above $81,000.

Crypto’s regulatory tailwind runs into a potential rates reset

The Clarity Act’s advance through the Senate Banking Committee gives crypto a clearer forward path, but the near-term market setup is being shaped by inflation, yields and Fed expectations.

The bill passed the committee by 15-9, moving it closer to a full Senate vote. The development is likely to matter most for tokenization, stablecoins and smart-contract platforms, where institutions have been waiting for clearer rules before expanding activity.

“The key structural development was the CLARITY Act clearing the Senate Banking Committee,” Bitwise senior research associate Kavi Jain told CoinDesk. “This is a landmark moment for US digital asset regulation and moves the market closer to a clearer framework for cryptoassets.”

Jain said the clearer framework should be “particularly supportive for tokenisation and smart contract platforms such as Ethereum and Solana,” enabling more institutional activity around stablecoins, tokenized funds and onchain capital markets.

The macro backdrop isn’t as supportive. April inflation data came in above expectations, with energy prices driving a large share of the increase as pressures related to the Iran war fed into the global economy. Markets now price a Fed rate increase by April 2027, Jain said, reversing the rate-cut expectations that dominated before the conflict.

Longer-dated Treasury yields show the same concern. The U.S. sold 30-year debt at a 5% yield for the first time since 2007. Higher interest rates make risky assets like bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies less attractive.

“This matters because inflation is particularly damaging for long duration assets, and higher long term yields suggest markets are no longer treating the energy shock as purely temporary,” Jain added.
