Bittensor [TAO] finally reversed its trend after closing at lower lows since the breakdown at $309 several days ago. With the broader market rebounding, TAO successfully held $260 support and jumped to a four-month high of $315.

At the time of writing, TAO traded at $308, up 12.15% on the daily charts. Over the same window, the altcoin’s trading volume jumped 122% to $655 million, reflecting increased market participation.

TAO’s Futures overheat as speculators return

TAO made significant gains, largely driven by renewed speculative interest as late buyers attempted to buy into the rally. The Futures Volume Bubble Map indicated overheated market conditions, reflecting heightened FOMO as too many traders entered positions with leverage.

While overheating often signals long‐term instability and can mark a market top, prices tend to accelerate upward in the short term. Notably, retail traders have largely driven these conditions.

Traditionally, higher Futures activity suggests reduced risk-off sentiment, with risk appetite taking center stage.

With the traders’ return, massive capital flowed into the asset. According to CoinGlass data, Bittensor saw $537.7 million in Futures inflow while $524 million flowed out.

As a result, the altcoin’s Futures Netflow jumped 508% to $13.3 million at press time, indicating increased capital inflows into Future positioning.

Coupled with that, derivatives volume rose 98.8% to $1.8 billion, while the Open Interest (OI) climbed 31.4% to $403.8 million. Such simultaneous jumps indicated increased market participation and capital inflows into either short or long positions.

In this case, most traders took long positions as the Long Short Ratio jumped to 1.01, indicating market bullishness.

A popular analyst now notes that more than 1.72 million coins are stuck in this zone, and if the price breaks out, a big move could be imminent.In a recent X post, popular analyst Ali Charts opined that Bitcoin is sitting in a “no-trade zone.” He noted that this zone lies between $70,685 and $65,636, adding that it is now the “most important spot on the BTC chart at the moment”.The analyst said that in this price range, more than 1.72 million BTC was transacted. Hence, this is the zone where most buyers will break even and where most sellers will likely emerge if some traders look to take quick profits because of uncertainty.“We won’t see the next big move until Bitcoin either breaks above $70,685 or falls below $65,636. One analyst, dubbed Dividend Rob on X, noted that Bitcoin’s five-year compound return stands at only 2.8%. The crypto markets are rebounding, with the whole sector rising by about 4% in the past 24 hours. Among the top 100 cryptos by capitalization, Aptos [APT] led with gains of 18% during this period.

The rally comes as APT prices reflect some of the major network upgrades that occurred this year, including the capping of supply. These upgrades are attracting a lot of activity on the Aptos blockchain. Is APT set for another 37% hike?

APT breaks out, eyes $1.50 target

The 6-hour chart showed APT’s price was breaking out of an ascending triangle pattern. The price action flipped above the Ichimoku Cloud, indicating a shift in market structure.

The altcoin reclaimed the $1 mark, with the actual move starting at around $0.90. This was clear, as the Volume Profile showed liquidity was maximum at $0.90 and $1, indicating high activity.

Traders could anticipate a 37% move. That would see APT price surpassing the $1.40 level.

However, the altcoin was still trading inside a massive falling trend channel on the three-day chart. The mid-level of the channel was around $1.40 to $1.50.

Interestingly, Aptos’s price was holding above a major support at the $0.80 to $0.90 zone, indicating reversal momentum was building. This zone coincided with the channel’s support.

The short-term outlook was shifting bullish, but the altcoin was still bearish technically on the bigger timeframes.

What’s driving this shift in structure?

Following the Decibel upgrade early this year, APT rallied, but the momentum cooled off.

YZi Labs Questions CEA Industries $1.98M Compansation to Departing CEO

YZi Labs, an independent investment firm and family office that manages over $10 billion in assets for Changpeng Zhao (CZ) and Yi He, has accused CEA Industries (NASDAQ: BNC), a publicly traded company servicing the Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) industry, of systemic governance failures, condemning its payment of $1.98 million to a departing CEO as compensation.

Several Weaknesses Exposed in CEA Industries' Operations

In its latest statement, YZi Labs noted that BNC's SEC filings disclosed material weaknesses in internal control over financial reporting. It revealed that one individual held the dual roles of CEO and Chief Financial & Accounting Officer, while the company lacked adequate control in key areas, including revenue, taxation, and equity compensation.

Alex Odagiu, Investment Partner at YZi Labs, accused the CEA Industries board of breaking protocol and neglecting due process. According to him, the board funneled millions of dollars to related parties without holding an annual general meeting or obtaining shareholder approval. He emphasized YZi Labs' demand that the board justify the severance compensation, release a remediation plan for the material weaknesses, and disclose the full scope of the restrictive covenants in the transition agreement.

A Breakdown of the CEO's Severance Payment

In the meantime, YZi Labs clarified the breakdown of the total transition agreement that CEA Industries paid the departing CEO, David Namdar. According to the details provided, the payment includes a $375,000 retroactive consulting fee, approximately $276,000 in future monthly consulting fees, about $434,300 paid in cash as equity plan payments not approved by shareholders, and a $900,000 one-time severance payment tied to restrictive covenants.
