SIREN breakdown accelerates as RSI confirms weakness



Price has rejected sharply after a vertical expansion phase, and the structure now reflects a clear breakdown from recent highs. 

SIREN has already lost the $0.9015 support level, which previously acted as a key reaction zone during the rally. This shift now places $0.4645 as the next major support, while a failure there could expose $0.0813 as the lower historical base. 

However, price continues to trade below the breakdown zone without signs of stabilization. On the other hand, the RSI has dropped to around 53.12 as of writing, reflecting a rapid loss of buyer strength after the peak. 

Although RSI has not reached oversold levels, it continues trending lower alongside price, which reinforces the ongoing weakness and supports the broader shift toward sustained downside pressure.

Solana Foundation taps Mastercard, Western Union, Worldpay for institutional developer platform
The Solana Foundation is launching a new developer platform aimed at making it easier for financial institutions to build blockchain-based products, with early users including Mastercard, Western Union and Worldpay.

The Solana Developer Platform (SDP), currently available for developers to test, is a toolkit that enables enterprises to create and scale financial applications on Solana without deep crypto infrastructure expertise. The SDP will also integrate AI tools such as Anthropic’s Claude Code and OpenAI’s Codex.

The platform bundles services from more than 20 infrastructure providers — spanning custody, compliance, wallets and payments — into a single interface, streamlining what has traditionally been a fragmented process for institutions entering the space.

At launch, SDP includes two live modules. The issuance module enables companies to create tokenized deposits, stablecoins and tokenized real-world assets, while the payments module supports fiat and stablecoin flows, including on- and off-ramps and onchain transactions. A trading module is expected later in 2026.

The involvement of traditional payments firms underscores growing institutional interest in blockchain-based settlement. Mastercard is exploring stablecoin settlement on Solana, while Western Union is testing cross-border payments on the platform. Worldpay is focusing on merchant settlement and tokenized assets.

“As Solana continues to be the most trusted and innovative infrastructure for payments and financial companies worldwide, SDP provides an accessible and familiar experience for institutions and enterprises to start building products on Solana today,” the Solana Foundation wrote in a press release shared with CoinDesk.

Research by Citizens shows that retail prediction market users are losing more money than legal sports bettors, with the sharpest traders and market makers capturing returns on the other side of their flow which. The research note also reveals the platforms are drawing a younger demographic than traditional sportsbooks.

The median return for a prediction market user was -8% from July 2025 through mid-March, compared with -5% for sports book users over the same period, Citizens JMP Securities analyst Jordan Bender wrote, citing transaction data from analytics company Juice Reel.

Individuals trading more than $500,000 on prediction markets generated a median ROI of +2.6%, consistent with sharp-bettor benchmarks validated by professional players. Every cohort below that level was negative, sliding to -26.8% for users trading less than $100.

No cohort within legal sports betting was profitable either, but the decay is less severe: the $500,000-plus sports betting cohort posted -0.6%, and the smallest accounts came in at -29.3%.

One of the major differences between the two platforms is who is on the other side of the trade.

Prediction markets do not limit or ban profitable users the way regulated sportsbooks do, concentrating informed flow on the platforms. That flips the traditional model. In sportsbooks, the house manages risk and filters out winning players. In prediction markets, retail traders are directly exposed to professionals, market makers, and high-volume participants who consistently take the other side of less informed flow.
