Bitcoin looks trapped in a repeated bear flag, while crypto sentiment has slipped back below 20. However, liquidity hopes and Bitcoin's strength during global shocks have kept bulls from giving up completely.

So, was this structure finally ready to break upward, or was another flush still waiting underneath?

Bitcoin had formed the same classic bear flag again. This structure started after the 6th of February dip, repeating the same setup seen in November 2025 before Bitcoin dumped in late January 2026.

That was not some random shape. It was a warning.

Bitcoin continued to grind within a bearish channel, failing to flip the trend. A breakout above the upper line and a strong hold would have quickly flipped sentiment.

What if that breakout failed?

Then the lower line became the problem. Losing that support would have exposed Bitcoin to lower lows again. Failure to which, the bulls would have watched the same painful movie twice.

Strategy expands ATM programs across stock lines to fund ongoing bitcoin buys Strategy has increasingly relied on a mix of common and preferred stock issuance, providing flexibility to tap whichever investor base is most receptive at a given time.

The approach works best when its shares trade at a premium to its bitcoin holdings, meaning the pace of future buying could hinge on market sentiment.

Strategy is adding more ways to fund its bitcoin purchases, rolling out new at-the-market, or ATM, programs across its common stock and preferred share offerings.

In a Form 8-K filing with the SEC on Monday, the company said it will now sell up to $21 billion of additional common MSTR stock, alongside $21 billion of its STRC preferred shares and $2.1 billion of STRK preferred shares through new ATM programs.

Bitcoin Gambler Faces $46 Million Liquidation, But Price Could Turn Before It Happens



Bitcoin ($BTC) is trading at $71,063, up 0.23%, inside an ascending channel on the 12-hour chart as a large whale short position faces liquidation.

A $46 million short bet opened on Hyperliquid carries a liquidation level of $71,712. If $BTC reaches that level, the forced closure would inject additional buying pressure into an already recovering market. The question is whether the on-chain setup supports that move.

Bitcoin Whales Make a Return

Whales, i.e., the addresses holding more than 1,000 $BTC, show a consistent pattern since July 2025: every time the whale address count increased sharply, Bitcoin price corrected meaningfully in the weeks that followed.

The first instance came in November 2025, when the count rose from approximately 1.960 to 1,986. Bitcoin subsequently fell. The second occurred in mid-January 2026, when the count again approached 2,010.
