NVIDIA Ising has launched as the world's first family of open-source quantum Al models, targeting the two biggest engineering bottlenecks in quantum computing: processor calibration and error correction decoding. Summary NVIDIA Ising delivers up to 2.5x faster and 3x more accurate quantum error correction decoding than current open-source benchmarks, with calibration workflows shrinking from days to hours. The model family includes Ising Calibration, a 35-billion-parameter vision-language model, and Ising Decoding, a 3D convolutional neural network framework, both available on GitHub and Hugging Face. Early adopters include Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, Harvard, IQM Quantum Computers, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and the UK National Physical Laboratory. NVIDIA Ising launched April 15, 2026, as the world's first open-source Al model family purpose-built for quantum computing, providing researchers and enterprises with tools to address processor calibration and error correction, the two engineering barriers standing between today's fragile qubits and large-scale useful quantum systems.

The models achieve up to 2.5x faster and 3x more accurate quantum error correction decoding compared to pyMatching, the current open-source benchmark.

What the Ising Models Actually Do The family has two domains. Ising Calibration is a 35-billion-parameter vision-language model that automates quantum processor tuning, compressing calibration workflows that previously required days of manual setup to hours of automated execution. Ising Decoding is a 3D convolutional neural network framework for real-time quantum error correction, available in two variants optimized for either speed or accuracy depending on the application. Both models are distributed through GitHub, Hugging Face, and NVIDIA's build.nvidia.com platform,

According to data from crypto.news, XRP (XRP) price rose to a two-week high of $1.39 on Tuesday before stabilizing near $1.36 at the time of writing. The token rebounded amid a broader crypto market rally as reports signalled a potential de-escalation in the U.S.-Iran war, as the latter has signaled its readiness to negotiate a new deal to end the conflict and stabilize regional trade. Previously, investors’ concerns surrounding the Middle East war deteriorated investor demand for risk assets, including XRP, which had fallen nearly 25% since the war began.  Demand for the token across leveraged markets has also cooled significantly. Data from CoinGlass shows that the total open interest for XRP futures stood at $2.48 billion at press time, significantly lower than over $9 billion seen in early October. Such a sharp decline in open interest suggests that speculative excess has been washed out, potentially leaving a cleaner path for a recovery. The crypto market experienced a sharp wave of liquidations as Bitcoin surged above $78,000, reaching a fresh 10-week high. This strong upward move came as global market sentiment improved, with easing geopolitical tensions encouraging investors to take on more risk across both crypto and traditional markets.

As Bitcoin broke above its recent range, a large number of leveraged positions were wiped out. In total, around $820 million was liquidated from the crypto futures market within 24 hours. The majority of these were short positions, with over $660 million liquidated, including approximately $353 million in Bitcoin shorts and $160 million in Ether shorts. This indicates that many traders were positioned against the rally and were forced to exit as prices moved higher.

One of the largest single liquidations occurred on a major trading platform, where a BTC-USDT short position worth over $15 million was closed. Such large liquidations often accelerate price movements, as forced buying from short sellers adds further upward pressure to the market.

At the same time, Bitcoin’s futures open interest increased by around 13%, signaling growing participation and rising leverage in the market. While open interest includes both long and short positions, the current trend suggests that bullish momentum is gaining strength as more traders enter the market.

Liquidity data also showed that sell orders in the $77,500 to $78,000 range were absorbed as Bitcoin continued its upward move. This absorption of supply indicates strong buying demand, allowing the price to push higher without significant resistance.
