Santiment, an analytics company that closely tracks Bitcoin’s price movements, examined Bitcoin’s rise to the $77,000 level in its latest market assessment. Despite the price increase, the prevailing skeptical approach among investors is noteworthy.

According to the analysis, Bitcoin’s push to new highs hasn’t generated as much enthusiasm in the market as expected. On the contrary, many traders are skeptical about the sustainability of this rise. Santiment notes that this skeptical atmosphere in the market could actually create a healthy foundation for the continuation of the rally.

The question of “Has the bottom been reached?” remains a major topic of discussion among market participants. Santiment experts state that conversations on social media platforms and on-chain data indicate that investors are still expecting a major correction. Historically, periods of skepticism often coincide with phases of sustained price increases.

It is noted that the continued low supply of Bitcoin on exchanges is reducing selling pressure. In particular, the fact that whales are not aggressively selling at current levels is interpreted as a signal that long-term confidence is being maintained.

According to Santiment, this “skepticism” that emerged during Bitcoin’s $77,000 rally indicates that the market hasn’t overheated yet. If this cautious stance continues among investors instead of FOMO (fear of missing out), Bitcoin’s potential to test higher levels could strengthen.

Bitcoin’s recent price behavior has kept traders split between those expecting another leg down and those calling that a bottom is already in. That tension is now feeding different technical analyses, with one analyst arguing that the probability of a deeper crash has dropped significantly based on long-term signals.

Chance Of Bitcoin Making New Lows Is Very Small
Bitcoin has spent months testing the patience of its holders since its all-time high of $126,000 in 2025. According to crypto analyst Sykodelic, there is a compelling case that the drawdown is done and that the probability of Bitcoin revisiting new lows at this point has dropped massively.

Sykodelic’s rationale leans heavily on the behavior of the Relative Strength Index (RSI) on the weekly candlestick timeframe chart. According to his analysis posted on X, Bitcoin has just printed a powerful bullish break on the weekly RSI, and what makes this particular reading extraordinary is not just where it bounced from but how low it got before doing so.

The weekly RSI has only fallen below 30 on three occasions in BTC’s history, with the most recent being Q1 2026. However, the RSI is now back into the normal zone, and it has broken above a descending trendline that touches lower highs. According to the analyst, this scenario means that the probabilities are now very slim for new lows of any kind.

The Bottom Signals Have Stacked Up
The RSI break did not arrive on its own. Sykodelic noted that multiple bottom indicators have converged simultaneously, a convergence he described as reaching a very high degree. According to him, about 12 important bottom indicators have fired, and Bitcoin is showing it here.

Zcash (ZEC) Price Drops 4% Following Selling Pressure

Despite the bullish sentiment in the overall crypto market, the leading privacy coin, Zcash ($ZEC), suffered a drop of around 4.23% on a daily chart, declining its value by $330.

At present, Zcash is trading at around $328.69 with a market capitalization of $5.46 billion, according to CoinMarketCap. The daily trading volume is revolving around $468.36 million.

While the $ZEC price witnessed back-to-back drops in the last few days, it still has a monthly gain of around 33%.

Zcash Faces Correction Despite Bullish Sentiment in Crypto Market

The decline comes even while the crypto market is showing mixed signals with selective profit-taking across alternative coins. Bitcoin traded with limited movement around recent levels after earlier gains, and this created a cautious environment for privacy-focused tokens like Zcash.

According to experts, investors mentioning short-term profit booking following a strong rally in $ZEC earlier in 2026 as one major reason behind the current drop. During the last few trading sessions, many traders have purchased $ZEC at low prices. Now, they are selling their tokens.

The current drop comes after facing a rejection at $350, which played a role as a major resistance level. $ZEC has followed a consolidation pattern between $320 and $350 for many weeks after an earlier surge. The recent sessions saw the price break above an important support level around $340, and this breakdown triggered additional sell orders from traders watching the chart closely.

Zcash is now showing early signs of potential further weakness if the price fails to reclaim the broken level on strong buying volume. According to the current price chart, there is a strong support level at around $320, and if the cryptocurrency falls below this level, it could open the door for deep corrections.

Polkadot recovers 17% after Hyperbridge exploit: Will DOT’s gains continue?

The Hyperbridge exploit caused Polkadot [$DOT] to lose a significant portion of its market cap, but it has since fully recovered.

The altcoin’s price crashed after a hacker minted 1 billion $DOT tokens on Ethereum [$ETH] but only sold them for $237K due to lack of liquidity. The team clarified that the actual loss had ballooned to $2.5 million as the team made efforts to recover the funds.

However, the assurance that Polkadot’s core network security remained intact fueled a 17% price recovery.

What drove $DOT’s price recovery?

A statement released by the team after the exploit assured users of security, as the core network had not been affected. It’s the bridged $DOT tokens on Ethereum.

As a result, the community sentiment returned to 82% bullish from 954.1K voters, as per CoinMarketCap. Consequently, the price of the altcoin rallied from $1.146 to $1.354.

The relief brought about a rebound in network activity. As per Artemis data, the number of transactions increased by 1,400, from 10.5K to 11.9K, in just a day.

Additionally, daily active users (DAU) increased by 1.67x even though the figures remained relatively low. DAU rose from 3,000 to 5,000, indicating users were gradually returning to the network.

The Total Value Locked (TVL) also experienced a surge of about 11.29% in a day, while the stablecoin market cap grew to $77.83 million after the massive drop.

Moreover, the altcoin commanded a significant amount of daily trading volume of about $403 million. However, the revenue of the network remained low as it attempted to get back on its feet.
