Ripple Price Prediction: XRP Risks Deeper Drop as $1.07 Support Comes Under Pressure


$XRP remains under pressure after failing to sustain last week’s recovery attempt. The latest price action shows sellers regaining control near a key resistance zone, pushing the asset back toward a major support area that is now becoming the focal point for the short-term trend.

Ripple Price Analysis: The Daily Chart

On the daily timeframe, $XRP continues to trade within a broad descending channel and remains below both the 100- and 200-day moving averages. The recent rebound stalled beneath the 100-day MA and the lower boundary of the highlighted resistance zone around $1.28 to $1.35, reinforcing the bearish higher-timeframe structure.

The most recent development is the rejection from that resistance area and the subsequent move back toward the $1.07 to $1.15 demand zone. This support region has repeatedly attracted buyers throughout June and remains the most important level on the chart.

As long as $XRP holds above this zone, the market may continue consolidating within its current range. However, a decisive breakdown below $1.07 would expose the previous swing low and significantly increase the probability of another leg lower.

On the upside, buyers must reclaim the $1.28 to $1.35 resistance area before any meaningful trend reversal can be considered.

Senate’s 60-Vote Gap Looms Over CLARITY Act Before A

The House Financial Services Committee has scheduled back-to-back hearings on July 14 and July 17, one covering Federal Reserve monetary policy, the other focused directly on the CLARITY Act. This is giving supporters of comprehensive crypto regulation their highest-profile platform yet as the pre-recess window narrows.

As of today, the bill has cleared the Senate Banking Committee, been placed on the Senate legislative calendar, and attracted a House fast-track commitment if the Senate moves first. None of that changes the core arithmetic: the CLARITY Act needs 60 votes on the Senate floor, and Republicans currently hold 53 seats.

Ondo [$ONDO] continued trading inside a descending channel after its failed breakout near $0.39.

Since then, the altcoin has printed lower lows, falling to $0.3107. Even so, the Ondo Finance team carried out another monthly token transfer, drawing fresh attention from traders.

According to Arkham data, the team’s multisig wallet transferred 150 million $ONDO tokens to a new address. The transfer was valued at $49.56 million.Previous transfers followed a similar pattern. Once moved, the tokens eventually landed on Coinbase.

Over recent weeks, the team has also deposited large $ONDO batches into exchanges. A week ago, for example, the team’s wallet deposited 46.06 million tokens worth $16.78 million.

Those deposits came from an earlier transfer. As a result, traders may view the latest movement as a sign of possible future exchange inflows.

If these tokens reach exchanges while the altcoin remains weak, the added supply could weigh on price action.

Even so, demand has remained relatively strong. On the Spot market, $ONDO recorded negative Netflows over the past seven days.More than $80 million worth of $ONDO flowed out of exchanges during this period. Although inflows also reached $80 million, outflows slightly exceeded them. This resulted in Netflows of -$115,000.

Negative Netflows usually suggest investors are moving tokens away from exchanges. That can point to accumulation rather than immediate sell pressure.

On top of that, speculative activity also increased.

According to DefiLlama data, Perps Volume rose from $29 million to $77 million over three days.

The rise suggested traders remained active despite the altcoin’s weak price action.

Together, Netflows and Perps Volume showed that interest in $ONDO had not disappeared.

The market maker’s June 22 update said Bitcoin fell while stocks were still shielded by the Juneteenth market closure. It framed the move as a timing gap between always-open crypto trading and delayed equity price action.

Meanwhile, the Fed kept its target range at 3.50%-3.75%, but the message around policy changed. Wintermute said the statement became shorter, the easing bias disappeared, and officials moved closer to rate hikes than cuts.

The firm quoted the shift as one reason traders grew more cautious on Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other liquid crypto assets. XRP Whale Fights $30 Million Liquidation, Banking on Historical July Rally

A major trader on Hyperliquid risks losing a giant $XRP position worth more than $30 million in one fell swoop. According to data from the analytics platform Onchain Lens, the address "0xf79C...9BbD" opened a long position of 27.9 million $XRP using 20x leverage, while the total value of the open notional position is estimated at $30.9 million.

However, because of the high leverage, the liquidation price is set at $0.92.

At the moment, the trade is already bringing the investor major losses. The current price of the asset has dropped to around $1.10, causing the floating unrealized loss on $XRP to exceed -$672,000.

The situation is worsened by the fact that the trader is also holding another large position — a long Bitcoin position of 809.9 BTC, worth $50.6 million, also with 20x leverage. At the moment, the total weekly loss across the entire portfolio stands at -$3,400,520, while the available free margin on the account has been completely depleted.

This leaves the trader without the ability to defend the positions unless new funds are deposited.
