Solana [$SOL] rebounded above the $70 mark with price up by about 2% in the past 24 hours at press time, amidst a wider market recovery. Notably, the daily trading volume was up more than 20% to around $2.20 billion.

Solana’s rally began late last week after a TD Sequential buy signal, lifting the price about 8% from $68 to $74. However, momentum now appears to be shifting on shorter timeframes.

As the price of Solana rises above $70, it encounters a heavy resistance at $75, which could be a hurdle to this recovery.

Moreover, the TD Sequential has flashed sell on the 4-hour timeframe as it tests its resistance trendline. The resistance is coinciding with the 200 SMA, showing its a strong area of supply. As such, it could suggest that $SOL is about to undergo a minor pullback to $72 or even lower levels.

Bitcoin holds above key support as momentum indicators hint at stabilizationBitcoin ($BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and $XRP are starting the week on a more stable footing after last week’s declines.
$BTC is trading above $64,000 but remains below major moving averages, keeping the broader trend bearish.
Crypto market opens new weekly candle with signs of stability
Bitcoin, Ethereum, and $XRP are showing resilience at the start of the week after experiencing notable declines during the previous trading period.

Bitcoin fell nearly 4% last week, while Ethereum and $XRP dropped approximately 2% and 6%, respectively.

Despite the weakness, all three assets have stabilized, with Bitcoin trading above $64,000, Ethereum holding the critical $1,700 support level, and $XRP consolidating near $1.13.

For Bitcoin, traders are closely watching technical indicators for clues about whether the recent recovery can develop into a broader rebound.

Bitcoin is currently trading around $64,000, but the broader technical outlook remains cautious. $BTC continues to trade below its key moving averages, 50-day EMA: approximately $69,106, 100-day EMA: approximately $72,123, and 200-day EMA: approximately $77,748.

The fact that Bitcoin remains below all three indicators suggests that sellers still maintain control of the broader trend.

Adding to the bearish outlook, $BTC recently broke below a rising trendline that had previously supported the market. That trendline, now acting as resistance near $74,238, reinforces the view that Bitcoin remains in a corrective phase.

Although the overall trend remains weak, some technical indicators suggest that downside momentum may be slowing.

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) has rebounded from deeply oversold levels and is currently hovering in the high-40 range.

“70% of All My Wealth Is in Bitcoin,” Asserts Mexico’s Richest Man Amid $1M Price Prediction

Mexican billionaire Ricardo Salinas, a well-known Bitcoin advocate, has doubled down on his bullish outlook, confirming that a significant portion of his investment portfolio remains allocated to Bitcoin.

Speaking during a Thursday interview with Coindesk, Salinas clarified remarks that have circulated widely online regarding the size of his Bitcoin exposure.

“Wealth includes a lot of assets,” Salinas said. “What I said is I have 70% of my liquid portfolio, of my investment portfolio, so my financial assets, excluding my businesses, excluding my real assets like home, boats, planes, cars, whatever.”

He added that, following recent market movements, his Bitcoin allocation has increased further.

“Now I’m up to about 80% Bitcoin in this dip and 20% gold and silver miners,” he noted.
Remarkably, Salinas revealed that his journey into Bitcoin began in 2013 when the cryptocurrency traded between $200 and $400. Initially viewing it as another speculative asset, he later concluded that Bitcoin represented a fundamentally different form of money.

The billionaire credited much of his evolving perspective to studying monetary history and examining the shortcomings of fiat currencies. Over time, he became convinced that Bitcoin offered advantages that traditional stores of value could not match.

However, while he continues to hold exposure to gold and silver miners, Bitcoin remains his primary investment focus. He also dismissed the idea of rotating capital into artificial intelligence-related stocks, arguing that many AI investments appear overpriced from a value-investing perspective.
