On June 20, the latest AP-NORC poll revealed that President Trump's approval rating remains at 37%, unchanged from last month, amid a preliminary agreement to end the war between the US and Iran. The poll also showed that Trump's approval rating for his handling of the Iran conflict is stable at 34%. However, 53% of respondents believe that the US military actions in Iran have been excessive, a decrease of 6 percentage points since March, but still a majority. The survey was conducted from June 11 to 17, with a sample size of approximately 3,040 American adults and a margin of error of ±2.8%. The results indicate that despite the preliminary ceasefire agreement with Iran and short-term economic relief such as falling oil prices, there are still significant public doubts regarding the war's objectives and policy effectiveness. Reports note that since the US military actions against Iran began in February, Trump's overall approval rating has fluctuated between 34% and 40%, showing no significant improvement. Analysts suggest that the Iran conflict and its impact on energy prices remain key factors influencing his economic and diplomatic evaluations.
