American Indian tribes want Kalshi and Polymarket off their land
A coalition of American Indian tribes is seeking to block prediction market Kalshi and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) from undermining gaming laws on Indian land.

The legal challenge is made up of a series of amicus briefs filed this month by the “Tribal Amici,” a legal body consisting of 30 federally recognized Indian tribes and 11 different Indian regulatory agencies.

In an Amicus Brief — a brief that allows a third party outside the legal proceedings to offer their perspective on an ongoing case — filed on June 11, the Tribal Amici encouraged a court to deny Kalshi’s motion for preliminary injunction.

Meanwhile, a June 15 filing supported the State of New York’s opposition to the CFTC’s motion for a preliminary injunction.

In both cases, the tribal coalition claims that Kalshi and the CFTC’s actions would amount “to a sub silentio reversal of congressional policy and Supreme Court precedent” and “undermine existing tribal-state gaming compacts and regulatory frameworks.”

According to David Nage, managing director and portfolio manager at Arca, discussions with Senate offices and staff members in Washington left him convinced that most of the work surrounding crypto market structure legislation has already been completed.

In a recent report, Nage wrote that the industry and policymakers are roughly “80–85%” aligned on the substance of the bill despite public disagreements that continue to generate headlines.

The legislation, formally known as the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, has already secured bipartisan support in committee and now awaits further Senate consideration. Ethereum exchange reserves have fallen to their lowest level in nearly a decade, leaving around 14.5 million $ETH on centralized platforms and reducing the amount of liquid supply available for sale.

At the same time, futures traders continue building bullish positions even as spot demand remains relatively subdued.

Analysts argue that a return of spot buyers could create a supply imbalance, potentially supporting stronger price action in the months ahead.

Ethereum exchange reserves have reached their lowest level in 10 years, renewing debate over whether the market is moving toward a supply shock. The trend reflects investors shifting $ETH into staking, self-custody, and decentralized finance, while liquid supply on exchanges continues to shrink.

Ethereum Exchange Reserves Reflect A Changing Market Structure

Data from on-chain analytics firms indicates that exchange-held $ETH has declined from nearly 35 million coins in 2020 to roughly 14.5 million today. In general, lower exchange balances reduce immediate selling pressure, as fewer tokens remain available for trading.

The shift comes as Ethereum’s ecosystem expands following its transition to proof-of-stake. Millions of $ETH remain locked in staking contracts, while institutional custody solutions continue gaining traction. Long-term holders appear increasingly reluctant to move assets back to exchanges.

Historically, declining exchange reserves have often preceded periods of stronger price performance when demand increases. Although previous market cycles do not guarantee similar outcomes, many investors view shrinking supply as a supportive signal for $ETH valuations.

$XRP at $10 vs SpaceX at $15 Trillion, What the Math Says
At the time of the analysis, $XRP was valued at roughly $70–77 billion, while SpaceX was valued at around $1.75 trillion following its IPO. Analyst compares the two investments based on the returns they could generate from current levels.

According to him, a move to $10 per $XRP would push its market cap to around $620 billion, delivering roughly a 9x return for investors. For SpaceX to offer the same return, its valuation would need to grow to nearly $15 trillion.

While $XRP would need to add about $550 billion in market value to reach that target, he argues this is not impossible. Bitcoin and Ethereum have both reached similar valuations in previous market cycles. He notes that many investors once doubted $XRP could even surpass a $150 billion or $180 billion market cap, yet it eventually did.

For that reason, he believes $XRP reaching a $600 billion-plus valuation appears more achievable than SpaceX growing into a $15 trillion company, making $XRP the more compelling opportunity from an ROI perspective.

Mega whale wallets holding 10 million or more XRP now control approximately 45.83 billion tokens, representing 68.5% of circulating supply and the highest whale concentration since May 2018. 

Additionally 91.4% of recent exchange outflows are coming from large holders moving coins into private custody, and over 25 million XRP was pulled off exchanges the moment price touched $19.
