Not long ago I was told that the Strait of Hormuz would be opened. I had the info before it went public. Didn't think twice - opened a small long on $BTC. You can see the result on screen + the entry time.

According to recent statements from Ripple, institutional adoption of XRP has accelerated significantly following the launch of spot XRP ETFs, marking a structural change in how the asset is accessed, held, and positioned.
ETF Launches Drive Institutional Demand
The turning point came after regulatory clarity improved in mid-2025, when the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission introduced generic listing standards for commodity-based crypto ETFs. This reduced approval timelines from roughly 240 days to about 75 days, opening the door for faster product launches.
A key prerequisite was the establishment of a regulated futures market. In March 2025, XRP futures launched on Bitnomial, followed by CME-listed futures in May. The CME product quickly reached $1 billion in open interest, signaling strong institutional demand even before ETF approvals.
By November 2025, multiple spot XRP ETFs went live, including products from Canary Capital, Bitwise, Grayscale, Franklin Templeton, 21Shares, and others. Canary Capital’s launch notably recorded the highest first-day trading volume among all ETFs across asset classes that year.
Strong and Consistent Capital Inflows
Market data suggests sustained institutional participation:
No net outflow days during the first month of trading
Over $1 billion in cumulative inflows by December 2025
More than $1.5 billion in total inflows by early March 2026

The filing reportedly ranks among the largest bitcoin-related trades reported by an active member of Congress.
Rep. Sheri Biggs has disclosed a purchase of up to $250,000 in BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF, one of the largest bitcoin-related trades publicly reported by an active member of Congress.

A House periodic transaction report filed this week shows Biggs’ spouse purchased shares of the fund on March 4 in the $100,001 to $250,000 range through a professionally managed UBS account held in the W.S.B Trust.

The fund, known by its ticker IBIT, is BlackRock’s spot bitcoin exchange-traded fund, which directly tracks the price of Bitcoin.
Unlike an earlier disclosure tied to a similar purchase last year, the latest filing appears to comply with the STOCK Act’s 45-day reporting window. The March 4 trade was disclosed on April 16, 43 days later.

Biggs previously reported another IBIT purchase in the same dollar range tied to a July 2025 transaction. That filing was submitted late as part of a broader batch of delayed disclosures that drew scrutiny over congressional trading transparency, Yahoo Finance reported at the time.

No allegation of wrongdoing has been made in either case, and the latest filing states the account is professionally managed.

Jayati Bharadwaj, head of foreign exchange strategy at TD Securities, summed up the shift bluntly: “Safe-haven buying has begun to fade. That is the reason for the dollar’s decline.”
