The reversal is tied to U.S. President Donald Trump’s response to Iran’s latest proposal, which he called “totally unacceptable.” Volatility returned at the macro headline level, not from a crypto-native catalyst, and that makes the move harder to cleanly price. BTC had already reclaimed $80,000, but the failed push above $82,000 showed how quickly geopolitical messaging can interrupt momentum after a strong rebound.

Investment products tied to Bitcoin, XRP, and other digital assets attracted strong institutional demand last week, driven by improving regulatory sentiment across the market. 


According to a report from CoinShares, crypto investment products recorded more than $850 million in inflows over the past week. Notably, the latest figures marked the sixth consecutive week of positive momentum for the sector. 

The report highlighted strong investor demand for Bitcoin and XRP investment products as improving regulatory sentiment and rising market confidence fueled broader inflows across digital assets.

Key Points 

Crypto investment products extended their inflow streak to six consecutive weeks, attracting $857.9 million over the past week.

Bitcoin investment products accounted for the bulk of activity, with $706.1 million in inflows.

Ethereum, Solana, and XRP products also posted inflows of $77 million, $47 million, and $39 million, respectively.

CoinShares identified improving regulatory sentiment in the United States, particularly optimism surrounding the Clarity Act, as a key driver of the positive flows.

Capital B, a publicly traded company based in Europe, announced it has secured new investment to expand its Bitcoin reserve strategy. The company successfully raised approximately €15.2 million, or $17.8 million. The majority of this funding will be used for additional Bitcoin purchases.

According to the company’s statement, Adam Back, CEO of blockchain technology company Blockstream and a Bitcoin advocate, also participated in the investment round. Capital B management announced that they plan to purchase approximately 182 BTC with the new funding.

In recent years, the strategy of adding Bitcoin to the balance sheets of publicly traded companies has become increasingly common. Bitcoin, particularly seen as a hedge against inflation risk and a long-term store of value, continues to attract the attention of institutional investors. Capital B is among the European-based companies following this trend.

The company stated that its Bitcoin accumulation strategy is long-term and that they believe digital assets will play a larger role in the financial system in the future. Management also signaled that they may continue Bitcoin purchases in line with their goals of balance sheet diversification and shareholder value creation.

Institutional Bitcoin investments have recently gained momentum in the markets. The increase in inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs, in particular, and the expansion of reserves by some large companies, indicate a strengthening institutional demand. Analysts state that European-based companies are also beginning to include digital assets in their institutional treasuries, following the example of the US.

The recent surge in Bitcoin prices is also seen as one of the factors accelerating these kinds of strategic purchases by companies.

Following Trump’s remarks, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said that everything in the proposal was “reasonable” and “generous” for Iran’s national interests as well as for the region’s and the world’s stability, the CNN report added.

The broader crypto market, which has in the last few weeks priced in a potential final peace agreement amid the ongoing but fragile ceasefire, shows signs of exhaustion, with $XRP down at least 1.36% on the trading day.

Meanwhile, appetite for $XRP-related digital investment products remained steady last week, as reflected by nearly $40 million in inflows, according to a CoinShares report published on Monday. Total assets under management average $2.5 billion, the fourth-largest as per the chart below.

The figure marked the sixth straight week of positive flows and the largest weekly total since April 24.

Total assets under management rose to $160 billion. CoinShares linked the move to stronger market sentiment after Bitcoin climbed above $80,000 during the week. The firm said the move “likely reflects” improving sentiment around the CLARITY Act, keeping the wording cautious as the bill still awaits a key Senate step.

Eligible users can now transfer Ondo tokenized assets from Ethereum and $BNB Chain to HyperEVM using the Ondo Bridge, powered by LayerZero. The initial rollout covers 35 assets, including SPYon, QQQon, NVDAon, TSLAon, and GOOGLon.

The move gives Hyperliquid users access to tokenized spot exposure that can be paired with perpetual positions on applicable markets. That setup opens the door to more capital efficient strategies such as basis trades, funding rate arbitrage, portfolio hedging, and delta neutral positioning, areas that have historically been harder to execute fully onchain.

Rather than building isolated liquidity pools for each asset, Ondo’s model tracks the underlying traditional securities listed on venues such as the NYSE and Nasdaq. The tokens are designed to provide economic exposure to the underlying asset’s price action and dividends, rather than direct ownership of the shares themselves.

The HyperEVM expansion builds on Ondo’s existing push into the Hyperliquid ecosystem. Felix Protocol previously launched access to more than 250 Ondo tokenized US equities on HyperEVM, giving onchain traders a way to access stock and ETF exposure without leaving crypto rails.
