TeraWulf's $21 million HPC revenue surpasses bitcoin mining for first time in Q1

Former pure-play bitcoin miners like TeraWulf are starting to report Al and HPC revenue overtaking their mining segments.

TeraWulf said it is targeting 250 MW to 500 MW in additional annual contracted capacity.

TeraWulf's high-performance computing business overtook its bitcoin mining segment for the first time last quarter, following a trend of former pure-play bitcoin miners shifting focus to Al and hyperscaler infrastructure.

The company reported $34 million in total revenue for Q1, roughly flat from $34.4 million from a year earlier.

Estonia’s FSA issues investor warning for Zondacrypto exchange over MiCA violationEstonia’s financial regulator just put Zondacrypto on notice, and the timing could not be worse for an exchange already dealing with a law enforcement investigation in Poland and mounting customer complaints about locked funds.

The Financial Supervision and Resolution Authority (FSA) issued a formal investor warning against BB Trade Estonia OÜ, the Estonian-licensed entity that operates the Zondacrypto digital asset exchange. The violation: listing a crypto token called “TeamPL” without publishing the required white paper on its website, a direct breach of the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework.

What MiCA requires and where Zondacrypto fell short

MiCA mandates that any token listed on a trading platform must have a publicly accessible white paper before it can be offered to the public or admitted to trading. The FSA cited a violation of MiCA Article 9(1). Zondacrypto listed TeamPL without one.

Estonia, as an EU member state, is obligated to enforce MiCA across all crypto-asset service providers operating under its licensing regime. No financial penalties have been announced yet.

BB Trade Estonia OÜ has not publicly commented on the warning.

The bigger problem: frozen Bitcoin and withdrawal complaints

Polish law enforcement officials have been investigating the exchange over a wave of customer complaints about withdrawal delays. Users have reported being unable to access their funds.

At the center of the investigation: a cold wallet reportedly containing 4,500 BTC that is currently inaccessible.

Spot XRP ETFs have reportedly seen rising institutional demand, with cumulative inflows reaching $1.32 billion. In May, XRP ETFs have also recorded a three-day inflow streak, bringing in about $28.1 million between May 4 and May 6, while other days during that stretch showed neither inflows nor outflows.

That ETF-driven demand has coincided with price strength. It has helped contribute to XRP moving above the $1.40 support area. At the time of writing, XRP traded around $1.41 per token, up roughly 2% over the past 24 hours.

Even with the recent improvement, the asset remains far below its current price peak: XRP is still over 61% below its all-time high of $3.65, reached last year.

Chainlink extended its recovery this week as bullish on-chain data, rising social activity, and technical breakout signals pushed the token to its highest level since January.

$LINK climbed nearly 7% over the past 24 hours and more than 20% over the past month. Trading activity also accelerated sharply, with daily volume jumping roughly 50% as the token reached an intraday high of $10.56.

Crypto analyst Crypto Rand said $LINK was “triggering the bullish reversal” after breaking above its yearly downtrend resistance. The breakout followed months of lower highs and declining momentum across the broader altcoin market.

XRP is seeing rapid demand from institutional investors amid the broad crypto market resurgence as the funds achieved their first weekly inflow in May.

The crypto market has traded mainly on the positive side over the last week, and XRP has just recorded the biggest weekly inflow of the month according to the latest data provided by SosoValue.

Despite the negative record seen last week, the XRP ETFs have shown signs of recovery as the broader crypto market sees sentiment flip to extremely bullish, sparking notable demand from institutional investors.

XRP registers $28.17 million in fresh capital 

While the XRP ETF market recovery has followed a notable increase in the price of XRP in the last seven days, it appears that institutional investors have become more optimistic about the asset's future price potential.

Hence, they have doubled down on their investments in the XRP-based investment product. As such, the XRP funds have achieved a combined inflow of $28.17 million in the past week.

While this comes after a week of extremely low performance, this marks the first and highest weekly inflow recorded by the XRP ETFs in May.
