A high-profile cryptocurrency analyst suggests that Bitcoin may be forming a massive bullish reversal pattern.

A trader using the pseudonym Cheds, whose 372,300 followers on X suggest that Bitcoin may be forming a rare head and shoulders pattern, which would signal the end of a pullback.

“The hope for a BTC bullish trend is that a complex pivot bottom is forming on the daily chart.”

From a technical perspective, a complex pivot bottom is a reversal pattern. This pattern occurs when a complex head and shoulders pattern with multiple heads or shoulders forms after a sustained downtrend.

Legendary trader Peter Brant has highlighted compound pivot bottoms on various historical charts, including copper prices in the 1970s, which led to copper prices doubling in 14 months.

Chedes also predicts that if Bitcoin can turn $76,000 into a support level, it will see a significant breakout. This price level last acted as resistance in March.

$ADA trades at $0.2396 on April 15, right at the $0.243 level that has served as Cardano’s major pivot twice before, as the former president of the New York Stock Exchange publicly names Cardano a long-term winner and the Clarity Act clears another hurdle in Washington.

$ADA Wedge Apex Meets The $0.243 Pivot This Week

The descending wedge from the November peak near $0.6500 has both boundaries meeting at current price. The lower boundary rises from the February low at $0.2200, the upper boundary slopes down from the November high, and both converge near $0.2390 to $0.2450 this week.

Four EMAs stack bearishly above. The 20-day at $0.2490, 50-day at $0.2625, 100-day at $0.3033, and 200-day at $0.3963 have not been cleared since the selloff began. The SAR at $0.2644 adds another resistance layer just above the 20-day. A daily close above $0.2450 and then the SAR at $0.2644 is the breakout sequence. Losing $0.243 on a daily close, as Ali Charts warns, opens yearly lows near $0.10 with no support in between.

In his latest tweet on X, Michael Van De Poppe pointed out that Bitcoin's current price action suggests a gradual upward trend in the near term. The expert emphasized that Bitcoin breaking through $75,000 is crucial for its attempt to reach $85,000 by the end of April. He then stated that Bitcoin's current price momentum is close to $75,000.  A successful breakout above this level could trigger a price surge, propelling Bitcoin steadily towards the $85,000 mark by the end of April 2026.

Pope noted that despite ongoing geopolitical uncertainty, the market has turned bullish, indicating a willingness to rise in prices.

 "#Bitcoin's target is to hit a high, currently consolidating around $75,000. If it can break through $75,000 with volume, it could reach $80,000 to $85,000 this month, as higher timeframe resistance levels are there. Yesterday I analyzed several scenarios I was watching. Clearly, the market has turned bullish and is providing strong support overall, despite the uncertainty surrounding the Middle East situation. I think, given the current situation, we are more likely to achieve scenario 1 (the upside scenario); if $72,000 can hold the support level, I think the probability of reaching $80,000 this month is over 70%."

Allbirds (BIRD) surged around 300% after saying it will pivot from sneakers into AI computation services, underscoring one of the market’s dominant themes: the race to secure scarce AI infrastructure.

The company said it agreed to sell its footwear brand to American Exchange Group and reinvent itself as NewBird AI, backed by a $50 million convertible financing facility to acquire processing units and build AI infrastructure.

The $50 million convertible loan is roughly double the company's $22 million pre-announcement market cap.

Demand for the computing power required to support AI is surging and supply remains constrained, a scarcity that has already seen bitcoin miners pivoting into AI and high-performance computing. Now, even small-cap companies are attempting to position themselves to capture the opportunity.

Convertible financing means the investor initially provides capital to the company as debt, and can later convert it into equity, often at a discount, which can lead to significant dilution for existing shareholders.

In May 2025 an NFT artist named Masato Alexander posted a thread accusing Charles Hoskinson of rewriting the Cardano ledger during the Allegra hard fork in 2020

The claim was that Hoskinson used his genesis keys to delete original wallet balances from the 2017 ICO and move 318 million ADA worth $619 million into reserves he controlled

Alexander called it one of the largest ledger rewrites in blockchain history and compared it to the Ethereum DAO hack

The thread went viral and the Cardano community split in half overnight, with some calling for Hoskinson to step down and others defending him

Hoskinson responded the same day and said the ADA vouchers from the ICO had become unspendable after the hard fork, so they were moved into a custodial account that kept distributing them to the original buyers for 3 more years

He said 99.8% of all vouchers were redeemed by the people who bought them and the remaining 0.2% went to Intersect, a Cardano governance organization

He then sent Alexander a cease and desist letter and told him publicly "if you continue to imply that I stole funds, I will sue you"

The Cardano Foundation launched an external audit that cleared Hoskinson and IOHK of any misuse of funds and found no evidence of key misuse or financial misconduct

The genesis keys themselves were later burned before the Chang upgrade, meaning that level of access no longer exists on Cardano for anyone
