Bitcoin Price Prediction: BTC Eyes $90K While Altcoins Continue to Struggle

Bitcoin traded near $81,359 on the 4 hour $BTC/USD chart shared by Man of Bitcoin. The chart shows $BTC moving inside a rising channel, while the short-term wave structure remains unclear.

Man of Bitcoin said the key levels are well defined, even though the micro structure has not confirmed a clear path. The main support level sits at $74,917. As long as Bitcoin holds above that level, continuation without a deep pullback remains possible.

The chart also marks a highlighted support zone between $76,103 and $77,709, based on Fibonacci retracement levels. These levels include the 0.5 level near $77,709, the 0.618 level near $77,042, and the 0.786 level near $76,103.

However, Man of Bitcoin still expects a possible retrace into that support zone before stronger continuation. A pullback into this area would keep $BTC above the wider invalidation level, as long as price does not lose $74,917.

The upside level also remains clear. A decisive breakout above the rising channel would suggest that wave 2 has already bottomed. In that case, $BTC could continue toward higher targets marked near $87,000 and $90,000.

For now, Bitcoin remains above key support but below the upper breakout zone. A clean channel breakout would strengthen the bullish structure. However, a drop below $74,917 would weaken the setup and raise the risk of a deeper correction.

Bitcoin fails at $82K again as traders brace for fresh volatilityCrypto liquidations crossed $550 million over the past 24 hours.

Analysts identified major long liquidation clusters near the $77,000 level.

Traders are closely watching Coinbase earnings and Federal Reserve signals.

Bitcoin has slipped back toward the $80,000 zone after failing to hold above $82,000, as traders reacted to technical resistance, elevated leverage, and caution ahead of fresh US economic data.

According to TradingView data, BTC/USD climbed to a local high of $82,833 on Bitstamp before giving up part of the move during Wednesday trading. 

The rally briefly accelerated after reports emerged about a possible 14-point ceasefire agreement between the US and Iran that could reopen oil traffic through the Strait of Hormuz.

Momentum weakened after US President Donald Trump questioned whether Iran would accept the proposed terms. 

In a Truth Social post, Trump said Iranian approval of the deal was “perhaps a big assumption,” while warning that military action could intensify if negotiations failed.

Oil markets turned volatile alongside crypto. WTI crude fell more than 10% within hours before rebounding near $96 per barrel. 

Trading resource The Kobeissi Letter reported that nearly $1 billion in unusually large short positions had built up in WTI before the sharp decline.

Coinbase Says Crypto Bill ‘Clarity Act’ Will Pass by the End of Next Summer




Coinbase Chief Legal Officer Paul Grewal said he is “very confident” that the CLARITY Act, a long-awaited regulation for the cryptocurrency sector in the US, will be enacted before the end of summer.

Grewal also stated that they supported the stablecoin reward system agreement presented by Senators Thom Tillis and Angela Alsobrooks, adding that this sent a clear message to the banking sector that the agreement was accepted.

Grewal argued that the updated bill offered a viable middle ground that preserved critical functions for both Coinbase’s stablecoin business model and the broader financial markets. He specifically stated that protecting the reward mechanism offered to stablecoin users was a red line for the company, and that the Tillis-Alsobrooks compromise preserved this boundary.
