As of this writing, SIREN traded at $1.7, up 102% on the daily charts, adding to its 136% weekly rally. 

Over the same period, trading volume climbed 392% to $209 million. Equally, M.C surged 111%, crossing the billion mark to $1.29 billion, reflecting increased capital flows.

On April 18, industry chatter picked up around reports that DeepSeek — long known for turning down outside investment — may finally be preparing to raise external capital for the first time. According to a tech-focused media outlet, the company is in early discussions with investors, aiming to raise at least $300 million at a valuation of no less than $10 billion.
If true, this marks a significant shift in strategy.
DeepSeek has previously declined offers from top-tier venture capital firms and major tech giants, choosing instead to maintain independence in building its AI models. But the landscape has changed. Developing cutting-edge AI today isn’t just about talent and vision — it requires enormous spending on compute power, infrastructure, and data.
Insiders suggest that the move is less about abandoning principles and more about strengthening its position in an increasingly expensive arms race. Simply put, staying competitive in AI now demands deeper pockets.
Still, not everyone is convinced. A representative from a large state-owned equity institution hinted that while the fundraising rumors are “likely true,” the project is “currently not investable,” suggesting potential concerns or uncertainties behind the scenes.
Efforts to confirm the news directly have so far come up empty. Executives linked to Huansheng Quantitative did not respond to calls or messages, leaving key details unverified.
Whether DeepSeek goes through with this funding round or not, one thing is clear: the AI race is entering a new phase — where even the most independent innovators may need to embrace capital to keep up.

On Solana alone, PYUSD became the second-largest stablecoin on the Kamino lending platform, with over $500 million in deposits. This shows strong demand beyond simple trading.

Even recently, Coinpedia news reported that YouTube announced that eligible U.S. creators can get paid directly in PayPal’s PYUSD stablecoin.
