BTC Funding Rate Turns Slightly Negative: What -0.0001% Means

Bitcoin’s 8-hour average funding rate across major perpetual futures exchanges currently sits at -0.0001%, a reading so close to zero that it reflects near-perfect balance between long and short positioning in the derivatives market.The data, tracked by Coinglass funding rate aggregator, shows the slight negative tilt means short-position holders are marginally paying long-position holders. In perpetual futures contracts, funding rates serve as a mechanism to keep contract prices tethered to the spot market, with payments exchanged between longs and shorts every eight hours.

Decentralized platform Hyperliquid is now competing with established betting platforms such as Polymarket, but with a differentiated mechanism for resolving bets.

The leading decentralized exchange has expanded its HIP-4 outcome contracts beyond crypto price milestones into real-world events. This native prediction-market infrastructure allows users to trade macro contracts, such as inflation data and interest-rate decisions, directly alongside their standard crypto perpetuals out of a single account.

The firm reports that the ratio of positive to negative mentions of XRP on social media and trading forums has dropped to approximately 1.1 to one — a level that, in past market cycles, has often signaled a forthcoming easing of selling pressure.
What the Data Shows
Santiment's analysis tracks the volume of bullish versus bearish commentary across major crypto platforms. When the ratio falls near parity, it suggests that market participants are overwhelmingly pessimistic.
Historically, such extreme negativity has preceded short-term price rebounds or at least stabilization, as the selling pressure exhausts itself and contrarian buyers step in.
For XRP, which has faced a volatile year marked by regulatory developments and broader market headwinds, this sentiment shift offers a potential contrarian signal. The current reading does not guarantee a price surge, but it aligns with patterns observed during previous market bottoms.

XRP has been one of the more closely watched altcoins, partly due to its ongoing legal battles with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). htx for me formally huobi when I started has really pushed me to be a better person in many ways, 
first checked my trading habits and two the most importantly the learn and earn aspect has built in me confidence in the crypto space ,

first from totally not understanding what it was to understanding solutions , why and how this technology will thrive trading is the aspect most think about but I feel there should be room to learn.. 

I know there's not so much in terms of the tokens earn on the learn part but there's so much wealth in knowledge. 
establishing core foundation to your trading decisions. 
the loses comes with it as well , when I get to see profit and hope for the moon and 😂 it gets back to the red zone or get liquidated. 

one day in the green and another butt kicked 😂 all part of the process.. so far for me it's been a current of ups and down but gathering of knowledge long term.
