Virginia to allow banks to offer crypto custody services starting July 1

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin signed a bipartisan bill this week that would allow banks in the state to offer custody services for crypto assets, Coinpost reported. Cryptocurrency storage in the state will be legalized from July 1. The bill has passed the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Legislature, and was finalized for implementation after it was signed by the governor this week.
