Arthur Hayes, the founder of BitMEX, has warned that the increasing interest in Bitcoin ETFs from traditional finance giants like BlackRock and Fidelity could harm the decentralization of the broader crypto industry. He believes that if these ETFs are approved by the SEC, banks and other financial regulators could restrict in-kind restrictions of any crypto financial products offered.
