Esports club TSM announces the cessation of its partnership with FTX

2022/11/16 17:13

According to official news, esports club TSM has announced the immediate end of its partnership with FTX. This means that the FTX brand will no longer appear on the social media profiles of any of TSM's organisations, esports teams and players, and the logo will also be removed from player apparel. This process may take some time to complete, and the current situation with FTX does not affect the TSM operational plan that was developed earlier this year.
As previously reported, in June last year, FTX signed a 10-year, $210 million title deal with TSM, which will use the name "TSM FTX" in all the tournaments it enters, including League of Legends, VALORANT, Apex Legends, etc. TSM has also purchased 1 million in FTX tokens for distribution among its employees and players. The deal is one of the largest publicly disclosed sponsorship deals for an esports team. The club's social media name remains "TSM FTX".
