CryptoQuant Founder: Bitcoin's Next Parabolic Bull Market Likely Requires Increased Institutional Investment

07/01 07:01

On July 1, Ki Young Ju, founder and CEO of CryptoQuant, stated on platform X that Bitcoin is likely to experience another parabolic upward cycle. Indeed, the efficiency of capital is gradually declining. In 2011, a net inflow of only $2.7 billion drove the price of Bitcoin up by 55,436%; whereas in the current cycle, $697 billion in capital has only resulted in a 689% increase. The next parabolic bull market will likely require increased institutional investment. Bitcoin needs to become a core macro asset, rather than relying solely on retail investors speculating on ETFs. This transformation process is still in its early stages, and the logic has not failed. If Bitcoin can sustain an increase in realized market value of over $1 trillion, there remains a possibility for another explosive rally. Currently, the total market value of gold stands at $27 trillion.
