No Bitcoin Buy This Monday—Strategy Adds $748M To USD Reserve Instead
Strategy, a major Bitcoin treasury company, did not purchase any BTC this Monday. Instead, it expanded its recently established USD reserve by $748 million through sales of its MSTR stock. The reserve now totals $2.19 billion. The company's Bitcoin holdings remain unchanged at 671,268 BTC, valued at approximately $60.24 billion. This move follows a pattern where reserve expansions are preceded by social media hints from Chairman Michael Saylor about "green dots," distinct from the "orange dots" representing Bitcoin buys. Separately, Bitmine, another crypto firm, reported adding 98,852 ETH to its holdings, now totaling over 4 million ETH. Bitcoin's price is currently around $89,700.
