Moreover, the connection between crypto crime and real-world violence is growing, with increased use in human trafficking and violent coercion attacks. Despite these challenges, illicit activity still represents less than 1% of all traceable cryptocurrency transaction volume. Collaboration among law enforcement, regulators, and crypto businesses remains crucial to address these evolving threats.
