MANTRA Chain has suspended all network operations as of August 21 following an undisclosed incident, halting transactions, validators, bridges, and public endpoints. The cause—whether security, configuration, or technical—remains unexplained. This unprecedented freeze occurs just three days after the launch of the MANTRA Zone upgrade, which introduced a new EVM interface. Notably, the network previously remained operational during a significant OM token crash in 2025. The suspension coincides with the pending acquisition of MANTRA Chain by Inveniam Capital Partners, expected to conclude in Q3 2026. The UAE-regulated chain has not disclosed investigation details or a recovery timeline, leaving users unable to transact or move assets via bridges.
