Nasdaq-Listed BitVentures Enters Crypto Mining With New Digital Assets Business Unit
Nasdaq-listed technology company BitVentures Limited has launched a Digital Assets business unit, marking its entry into cryptocurrency mining. The company has approved purchase and hosting agreements for Bitmain mining hardware with a total capacity of 0.5 megawatts. The newly acquired rigs—Antminer S21 XP Hydro, Antminer S21 XP Air, and Antminer L9—are energy-efficient models expected to deliver a hashrate of 30 PH/s for Bitcoin and 0.5 TH/s for Litecoin and Dogecoin. Deployment is set to begin in January 2026, with full operational capacity anticipated by Q1 2026 in U.S.-based data centers. This strategic expansion aligns with BitVentures' plan to diversify into digital assets, leveraging energy-efficient ASIC miners to mitigate market volatility. The initiative has already positively impacted the company’s stock performance, reflecting investor confidence.
