Leading South Korean cryptocurrency exchanges Upbit and Bithumb continue to expand their product portfolios by listing new digital assets.
According to official announcements, Upbit will launch trading for its Conflux token ($CFX) on the Korean won (KRW), Bitcoin (BTC), and Tether (USDT) markets. Bithumb, in turn, announced the creation of a KRW trading pair for its Gravity token (GRVT).
According to Upbit's announcement, deposit and withdrawal services for the $CFX token will be activated approximately 1.5 hours after the announcement is published. Spot trading is scheduled to begin on July 31 at 16:00.
The exchange emphasized that transactions will only be supported through the Conflux eSpace network, and tokens sent from other networks will not be accepted. It was also stated that the start of trading may be delayed if there is insufficient liquidity.
Conflux is known as a first-layer blockchain designed to achieve scalability, security, and decentralization. The project uses its own unique ledger structure called Tree-Graph and incorporates a hybrid consensus mechanism combining Proof-of-Work (PoW) and Proof-of-Stake (PoS).
It also offers two distinct execution environments, Core Space and eSpace, which support both its native ecosystem and applications compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). Recently, the Conflux team has focused on real-world asset (RWA) tokenization and stablecoin-based payment infrastructure, particularly in the Chinese and Asian markets.
Meanwhile, Bithumb also announced the activation of a Korean won trading pair for the Gravity Token (GRVT). GRVT, which will be supported on the Ethereum network, will allow deposits and withdrawals within two hours of the announcement, with spot trading opening on July 31 at 14:00. The reference price is set at 346 KRW, and 33 block confirmations will be required to activate the token.
Gravity Token stands out as the native utility token of the GRVT ecosystem, which aims to combine trading, investment, and payment services within a single account structure, starting with blockchain-based perpetual futures trading. The project uses Validium technology to enhance transaction data privacy, and the GRVT token offers various use cases such as staking and access to platform services.
