The Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus confirmed that since December 9, access to the websites of OKX, Bitget, BingX, Bybit, Weex, and Gate has been restricted. The basis was a notification from the Minsk City Executive Committee, which recorded "inappropriate advertising" on these resources.
As reported on the ministry's website, "more detailed information about the nature of the violations can be provided exclusively to the owners of these internet resources".
And the procedure for restoring access to the resources is only possible "after the violations that served as the basis for the decision to restrict access, as well as other violations of the law, have been eliminated".
On the evening of December 10, users from Belarus began reporting the unavailability of some exchange websites through local internet providers. However, as of December 11 (5:00 PM Moscow time), all exchanges from the restriction list remain accessible for viewing and authorization.
The registry of restricted access does not contain entries for major exchanges such as Binance and KuCoin.
