Малайзия представила регуляторную песочницу для программируемых платежей и стейблкоинов, обеспеченных национальной валютой, стремясь укрепить свою позицию как регионального центра финтех-развития.

Платформа под названием Digital Asset Innovation Hub будет служить испытательной средой для компаний, работающих с цифровыми активами, под надзором Центрального банка страны.

Во вторник премьер-министр Анвар Ибрагим объявил об инициативе во время симпозиума Sasana 2025 в Куала-Лумпуре, отметив её как «начало новой главы» для малазийской цифровой экономики.

Он заявил, что песочница позволит тестировать такие технологии, как стейблкоины, обеспеченные ринггитом, программируемые переводы и финансирование цепочек поставок, в контролируемой среде.

«Наша цель ясна — объединить инфраструктуру, политику и таланты из государственного и частного секторов для создания Малайзии, готовой к цифровому будущему», — сказал Анвар.

Малайзия стремится в финтех-лидеры

30 мая Денежно-кредитное управление Сингапура (MAS) заявило, что любая фирма или физическое лицо, предлагающие услуги цифровых токенов за рубежом, должны прекратить работу до 30 июня, если не имеют лицензии согласно Закону о финансовых услугах и рынках 2022 года.

Согласно документу MAS, никаких переходных мер предоставлено не будет. Компании должны либо получить лицензию, либо остановить работу.

По разделу 137 закона, все сингапурские организации, которые предоставляют DT-услуги за границей, считаются действующими от имени Сингапура и обязаны соблюдать местные нормы. За нарушения грозит штраф до S$250 тыс ($200 тыс) и до трёх лет тюрьмы.
