Tether запустила омничейн-стейблкоин USDT0, созданный на базе стандарта OFT.
Вначале он будет доступен в сети Ink и на бирже Kraken, но позднее поддержку актива обещают расширить.

Компания Tether представила стейблкоин под названием USDT0. Он призван снизить барьеры для транзакций и способствовать объединению ликвидности в разных сетях.

USDT0 — это омничейн-стейблкоин, созданный на базе стандарта Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) от протокола LayerZero. Актив был развернут в сети Ink, разработанной, в свою очередь, на основе стека OP Stack, что делает ее частью экосистемы Optimism Superchain.

Целью создания USDT0 является объединение ликвидности в разных сетях. Девиз нового актива от Tether — «Ваш USDT, где угодно».

Стейблкоин будет доступен эксклюзивно на бирже Kraken, которая и является разработчиком Ink. Пользователи могут вести взаиморасчеты в этом активе с 16 января 2025 года.

В планах Tether — расширить поддержку USDT0 на сети Berachain и MegaETH. Первое решение представляет собой EVM-блокчейн, построенный на базе Cosmos SDK и использующий консенсус Proof-of-Liquidity. Второе — полностью совместимая с EVM L2-сеть на базе Optimistic Rollups.

CEO Tether Паоло Ардоино так прокомментировал создание USDT0:

«В то время как конкуренты ориентируются на богатую толпу (банкиров, …), Tether всегда ставит во главу угла тех, кто не имеет банковского обслуживания, кто долгое время боролся за доступ к базовым финансовым услугам, и обычных людей, которые живут в странах с высокой инфляцией и хотят получить доступ к доллару США. Продолжая двигаться в этом направлении, я считаю, что USDT0 поможет масштабировать поддержку USDT на многих других блокчейнах, расширяя границы совместимости».
